Set in beautiful countryside, it may be a little of the main road, but you won't be disappointed. We came for Sunday Lunch and have to say the warmth of welcome and concern for customer service are hard to beat, the food was good too. One of the owners, Vivienne, was absolutely charming and couldn't do enough for us. Other... More

We were here on Sunday and it is by far the best carvery locally. The staff were friendly and attentive without being invasive, the food was fresh and full of flavour with lots of variety & I can only agree with the below email on the fantastic sticky toffee, although for us the portion was plentiful after the previous courses.... Visited here for a meal with family. The food was delicious and could tell the burgers and wedges were homemade, they were delicious!! The night we came was extremely quiet and although the service was fab the lack of atmosphere dampened our experience. There were another table of four and a table of two and we were all crammed in... More

Just visited The Granary near Looe for the first time. My wife and I are locals and we have never heard of it! They should send fliers around the Downderry, Seaton, Hessenford area. We are only 5 minutes down the road! The food was delicious and fresh tasting. We had the carvery. For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding,... More

My husband and I went to The Granary restaurant for our 30th Wedding Anniversary, the food was overcooked and very poor in quality. The only good thing about our experience were the two members of staff working that night, both were very friendly and professional. We only decided on The Granary as it was receiving great reviews what a DISAPPOINTMENT... More

We ate here 3 days out of our 7 day trip. The food was consistent, tasty, decent portion size and the desserts were all really good!! The staff were friendly and attentive. This was by far the best place we ate whilst on holiday!

A regular place for us with family or on our own for Sunday lunch. Reliably good food in a very nice setting. Vivienne is fun, friendly & efficient and Jake does great roasts.

We were staying at Polborder campsite, which is just up the road from the Granary and were recommended to eat there by the owners of the site! I can safely say that it is a great choice and nice place to eat. Literally a 5 min walk from the site and you're there! The staff were friendly and attentive, they... More
