Ate twice here during our stay in Falmouth early in July. They have got it right. The service is polite, friendly but efficient, the atmosphere quiet and relaxing and all the food we selected was cooked just right for us. The manager (owner? - sorry) keeps an eye on things but the young ladies serving us knew their stuff and... More

We visited this restaurant on a recent trip to Falmouth due to the reviews on Trip Advisor. We were not disappointed. The Cornish Gin proved an excellent start, followed by monkfish goujons, beef carpaccio, hake, mussel and prawn linguini and halloumi salad. All were absolutely fabulous. The staff were first class and we were so thrilled with our experience that... More

Visited on a week night. We had the set menu. Good food, fresh and flavoursome. The set menu was good value for money. I was impressed to find fresh and well thought out meal options for my 2 year old and we found the staff very accommodating with him. Would definitely visit again.

We had three amazing courses and a lovely bottle of rosé Pinot Grigio on Saturday night. The scallops were very fresh, the monkfish special was lovely, the plaice (catch of the day) was stunning and the lemon posset was to die for! Not cheap but the service is good and the portions are very good! Definitely going back next time... More

Made us all feel welcome including our 7 year old daughter. I ordered John Dory for main with polenta cake for dessert. My husband ordered whole plaice for main and lemon posset for dessert. My daughter who is so fussy ate every bit of her hake and chunky fries followed by ice.cream. We all agreed this was the best meal... More

On entering the restaurant we were warmly greeted. The restaurant has a lovely relaxing atmosphere and yet feels special. As we were dining early we took advantage of the Early Dining Offer. All three courses were beautifully presented and tasted delicious. From what I witnessed the waiting staff appeared to genuinely care that you had a good experience. After our... More

After reading reviews about this place, it was on the top of my list of places to visit in Falmouth. We booked a table for around 7pm which we quickly realised is too early for Falmouth as we were the only ones there for a while. The building itself is stunning with interesting decor and made up for the quite... More

Stopped here for dinner after a very long & stressful drive to Falmouth. Hunkydory staff were so accommodating, kindly extending our reservation after we were held up in traffic. All the specials menu options were still available which we found so refreshing for a late sitting. We both enjoyed the delicious scallop starter, then I had the beautifully cooked John... More

We enjoyed a top-class meal, competently cooked and presented. The staff were polite and friendly and recommended their good choice of interesting spirits which we partook of at the bar while perusing the delicious sounding menu. The chef has great imagination with the flavours used in the sea bass and sea bream. All was delightful except for the coffee but,... More
