Value for money

Excellent value, really nice staff, great sized portions of food and desserts to die for. Fish and chips, flapjack and chocolate brownie highly recommended.

The reviews on this site are genuinely laughable in comparison to my experience. Maybe I've been spoilt with the array of establishments in London and seeing how the pros do it but this place was a joke! Filthy, there's c**p everywhere?! The tables are scratched and worn down, the games are old and missing pieces, newspapers and mags out of... More

The owner of Fuel was unstintingly generous by her great hospitality extended towards a hungry hung over regatta participant who had arrived before they opened to be rewarded with a delicous and most welcome Americano and an un-surpassed scrambled eggs on toast devoured while sat on a very comfy sofa, with the morning papers to hand. A delightful breakfast experience,... More

Went here for lunch today, I had monkfish scampi which was amazing, light batter, good serving of chips with it and home made tartare sauce, my wife had a salad, again good size and very fresh, sides of homemade onion rings and chips, a peroni, a cider, large bottle of sparkling water and 2 desserts £44... In my mind VERY... More

Visited recently as we had planned to visit a restaurant a few doors down but they were closed. We only had burger and fries but the fries were so over done I couldn't put my fork through them. Worked out around 9quid each for a somewhat average burger and chips. The best thing was the service. The young lady who... More

The food's ok, the place looks ok, can't comment on the atmosphere as it was a Monday night, slightly out of season and there were only a handful of people in. The music could do with a refresh - it sounded like they'd tuned into a Spotify station, complete with adverts. Maybe it was poor service that let it down.... More
