SPECIAL BREAKFAST PLACE!

This is a well known local place for breakfast, excellent staff, great food (breakfast) and a venue that overlooks the marina, what more could you ask. Been here many times over the years and never fails to please! Gets a bit 'yellow wellie' in summertime.

I know this is my third review but we have been coming here 2/3 times a week during the winter so I thought I would update TA accordingly. We normally have breakfast (bacon baps, scrambled egg on toast/ fresh mushrooms/bacon etc) all of which is excellent. You can have tea with teabags or Tregothnan (proper loose) tea in a pot... More

What a really nice place to visit. The view was worth the trip. The cafe is bright with some nice seating, would be lovely to sit outside on a warm day. The menu looked very good. We had only dropped in for breakfast and we ordered tea and toast. Most places serve you with hunks of granary bread and pots... More

Overlooking calm waters and loads of yachts, this is a lovely place to come and admire the view whilst tucking into some great food. Classy menu, reasonably priced and all four of us sat there going 'yum' at frequent intervals. Decor is shabby chic, nice friendly staff and a great experience all round. Will definitely visit again

On a very blustery day after a walk from Flushing we happened upon this little gem. Looks quite ordinary but the food and service were excellent. We both had a cheeseburger which was delicious ( really fresh, tasty and all the trimmings). Chose the comfy sofas and relaxed to watch the world go by with our tea. Facilities in the... More

We walked to this cafe from flushing. It is a real gem. Set right by the harbour it offers great coffee and delicious lunches and snacks. Fresh salads and interesting fish main meals. There are big benches to sit at and no pressure to rush. Dogs are also welcome.

Dear Jill Thank you for taking the time to review our Cafe and we are delighted to hear you enjoyed your experience. The pleasant walk around the Carrick Roads from Flushing is certainly one of the most popular and convenient dog walking routes in the area and there is always some form of activity happening on the water to ensure... We had breakfast on Monday 9th March. We were there at 9am (just as they opened) and found the cafe to be warm and welcoming with a good atmosphere. One of us had the large Cornish Breakfast, the other the large Vegetarian Breakfast. Both were well presented, served with a smile and delicious. As a veggie I sometimes find it quite... More

We walked to Mylor from Flushing and enjoyed a lovely breakfast consisting of locally sourced produce. The service was friendly & the whole atmosphere very chilled!

Just as we opened our mouth to place our order at the counter the phone rang and, without an "Excuse me" or any acknowledgement whatsoever, the waitress deemed the call more important than the customer in front of her. After some chit chat she then walked off, (still on the phone) and disappeared, leaving us standing there. The man preparing... More

On the face of it this is just a café situated in the centre of Mylor Harbour Marina but with wonderful views over the harbour and up the river towards Trellisick House. The interior which is bright is odd in that it is largely long tables but the whole ambience is good. What is remarkable is the menus or rather... More
