Dining options: Breakfast/Brunch, Reservations, Late Night
Description: Dolly’s is a tea room and wine bar in the centre of Falmouth which opened in July 2011 in one of the most beautiful rooms in town. During the day it is a traditional tea room serving illy coffee, teapigs, cream teas and cakes. It then transforms in the evening to a candlelit wine bar serving delicious tapas, wine by the glass, jug and bottle. Cocktails are served in teapots and poured into vintage teacups with ice cubes in sugar bowls. Furnished with chapel chairs and reclaimed tables it has a very relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. It is also dog friendly and Hebe, Dolly’s yellow Labrador, is a permanent fixture.

We came in for drinks last night and were greeted by a miserable waitress. The place looked lovely and there was a guitarist playing in the corner. However, the apparent misery of the waitress continued to dampen our spirits and we left without ordering.

Totally funky place with the choice of some amazing G&T's ( I had one with rose petals and cucumber), whilst the family had cream teas with heaps of clotted cream. What else do you need?

Very good Tapas in unique surrounding with good service. Very interesting Drinks and a lovely atmosphere created by the Music. Not the usual tastes on the palate but obviously unique. Just love the eclectic plates and cups + how good were the drinks served in the Jam Jars !!!!Especially liked the Cider from Normandy.

The cream tea we had was lovely. However we had a waitress who looked bored, fed up and had the attitude of rather being anywhere than providing a service. The tea would have been better if an extra pot of hot water had been provided. Quirky surroundings but we had a chipped milk jug and one of the cups needed... More

When I went to Dolly's tea room I was unsure what to expect. But once I entered the decor, music, and service more than fulfilled my expectations. The decor and music is playfully chosen to build a great atmosphere and ambiance to enjoy your drinks in. A friend and I tried 2 different speciality Gin and Tonics which both presented... More

One mouthful of the Victoria Sponge on offer and I was suddenly 6 years old again. An elderly neighbour made the best Vicky Sponge and until my visit here I have never tasted anything as good since. Dolly's is a real find and well worth the climb up the stairs. Welcoming Staff and a vintage interior transport you back to... More

This tea room has a lovely interior with lots of details to see. We had an afternoon tea with sandwiches, scones and cake which was delicious and enough to keep us going for the rest of the day

First time we’ve tried this restaurant – delightful and quirky. Not too busy, selection of tapas dishes and a bottle of wine; all very tasty. Spent some time reviewing their menu – daytime seems to be very much a tea shop all with a hidden twist of speciality gins and cocktails. Which explained several tables of young woman drinking tea.... More
