Dolly’s is a tea room and wine bar in the centre of Falmouth which opened in July 2011 in one of the most beautiful rooms in town. During the day it is a traditional tea room serving illy coffee, teapigs, cream teas and cakes. It then transforms in the evening to a candlelit wine bar serving delicious tapas, wine by the glass, jug and bottle. Cocktails are served in teapots and poured into vintage teacups with ice cubes in sugar bowls. Furnished with chapel chairs and reclaimed tables it has a very relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. It is also dog friendly and Hebe, Dolly’s yellow Labrador, is a permanent fixture.

A place to grow fond of, sorry we were there too few days to revisit. Homebake, teas in all sorts of cups and no two plates alike it seemed. Full of charm, including the two girls Dolly and ....sorry, I forget the other name. Seemed to be a fave with the students in town.

Called in on a wet day with friends from Holland. Clean and very nicely presented. All drinks served with proper china cups and saucers, no mugs or plastic/paper cups. A proper traditional tea, cakes etc were available should you fancy a cream tea. Very reasonably priced and came with a nice big pot of tea. The only drawback is the... More

Lovely welcome from stunning young waitress with a 50's appearance. Great tea and cake and though we didn't sample any of the gin cocktails we know many who have and they have been impressed. Hebe, resident dog came to say hello.

Thurs 26th Great Relaxed night out at Dolly's, delicious Tapas and a few wonderful new gins. Sloe gin and prosecco as a final nightcap. As hosts, Dolly and Hebe and the table staff are as good as it gets and you leave with a feeling that you've made new friends - especially if you're cornered by Hebe the pearl neclaced... More

We came to Dolly's for a 'tame' hen do. It was absolutely perfect. The food was delicious and the cocktails to die for. The staff were super helpful. A real delight. Thank you.

Don't be put off by the stairs from the street. This is a lovely place to sit especially if you can get a window seat and watch the street below. I enjoyed meeting Hebe the dog - she really was wearing pearls!

On a recent trip to Falmouth we spotted the sign for this place and wandered up. And we are so glad we did! Erring on the right side of shabby chic, with a live piano, it was quirky without trying too hard, the distressed furniture and mismatched crockery look coming more from economics than some overly designed clever clever pose.... We didn't eat....just drank Gin...loved the glasses & the gin was beautiful. Quirky venue, not my sort of surrounding, bit old fashioned for me, but my partner liked it. Staff pleasant & mellow.

Tucked upstairs above the main street in Falmouth, Dolly's is a real treat. The decor is Granny Chic and it feels as if you have stepped back in time (but in a very cool way). The Team are so welcoming and friendly, especially Hebe, the pearl wearing labrador (yes, Dolly's is dog friendly). During the day, its the perfect place... More
