Dolly’s is a tea room and wine bar in the centre of Falmouth which opened in July 2011 in one of the most beautiful rooms in town. During the day it is a traditional tea room serving illy coffee, teapigs, cream teas and cakes. It then transforms in the evening to a candlelit wine bar serving delicious tapas, wine by the glass, jug and bottle. Cocktails are served in teapots and poured into vintage teacups with ice cubes in sugar bowls. Furnished with chapel chairs and reclaimed tables it has a very relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. It is also dog friendly and Hebe, Dolly’s yellow Labrador, is a permanent fixture.

Well on a rainy day in Falmouth we stumbled across this restaurant/bar/tea rooms after being attracted by the chalk boards outside and what a treat. We called in for just a drink and ended up having a cream tea & a gin and it was excellent. So excellent that we called back a couple of hours later to have the... More

What a fantastic place! I came here with my wife at the end of our stay in Falmouth and we wished we'd come earlier! Very friendly staff, the gin selection is extremely comprehensive. Great atmosphere.

An absolute treasure in the heart of Falmouth. Watch for the sign by the Falmouth Bookshop or you could easily miss out on a wonderful experience. No fancy decor here, school chairs, draw leaf tables and odd crockery. All the effort is put into producing tasty food. So many tempting dishes it's hard to chose. Great for a lunchtime snack,... Tea room by day, gin palace by night this is one of my favourite places in Falmouth. It looks unassuming, just a sign on the busy street which leads onto a staircase. Once you ascend the stairs you walk into a beautiful Georgian room complete with piano and vintage soundtrack. They do a range of homemade cakes that are a... More

If in Falmouth go to Dollys! Tea and cakes in the daytime, tapas type food in the early evening ...... and gin! Lots of it! There's a special gin menu, served in quirky teapots with pretty teacups and saucers. Relaxed, welcoming, different. There's a piano if you fancy playing it and a golden Labrador wearing a string of pearls.

Most enjoyable tapas evening at Dolly’s yesterday evening – will be back again soon and must dry some of those gins!

Few people there during the afternoon. Young girls work hard to please the customers. We went as a group of 8 and all had either sandwiches and cake, tea or proseco. We had a lovely hour which worked out at £11 per head. Good value for money and lovely treat out with the girls.

What a wonderful find...love the decor, the service and the fabby high tea. Despite my hubby not loving tea, managed to get him (and our two dogs) to this lovely tea shop. Just the right amount for an early afternoon tea, they gave veggies nice sandwiches- gorgeous homemade scone (choice of fruit or plain) and great choice of tea. Sadly... More
