As we were staying very near to this pub we went in a few times. The beer is great and the welcome very warm. We ate here after a long day and the food was average . Don't expect anything special but overall a nice place to relax .

My wife and I ate here at the beginning of March and we really enjoyed our meal. The scallops were brilliant, the plaice was superb - well presented and with great accompanying vegetables and the desert was fantastic. The beer is really good and well kept, with a good selection of locally brewed ales. We also had the house white... More

One of our very favourite pubs in Falmouth. Stunning views over the river. Quirky pub split over two levels. Indoor and outdoor seating, some with canopy for all seasons. Amazing food, particularly the famous mussel nights featuring local free dived mussels that are huge! The staff are lovely and welcoming and we feel they are genuinely pleased to see us.... More

Being extremely wary of Sunday roasts anywhere but my own (or my mum's) kitchen, a serious hangover dictated a visit to the boathouse. Very glad I did. I had the roast beef, and it is undoubtedly the best roast lunch I have ever had in a pub. The mashed Swede actually tasted like the inside of a Cornish pasty! Fantastic.... More

Had a meal with friends recently in the new enclosed dining area. Fabulous view, great food at a reasonable price and delightful staff. Thumbs up!

Went on a sunday for their 'legendary' roast. Restaurant was quiet, however had a considerable wait from kitchen. After a lengthy wait in their chilly restaurant, our lukewarm food finally turned up. I chose the beef, which was chewy, overcooked and clearly the last few slices of the joint. After attempting a mouthful of fat, I managed to grab the... More

Food was wonderful and so was the crew working there. Great smoking facilities as well. Beware of the Porthleven ale though :-)

Situatted at the top of Falmouth's old High Street the Boathouse is a pub with a lot of character, the vews from the outside decking area are fantastic. The food is good quality pub food which is reasonably priced and plentiful put this together with a wide selction of beers and is well worth a visit.

We ate here on our first night on holiday in falmouth . Food was just beautiful. Very tasty and fresh. The inside (pub one side, more restaurant the other, but you can still sit there to have drink when quiet and enjoy the amazing views) had a good atmosphere. The outside upstairs decking is where we spent most of our... More
