Best rib eyed strak

Really enjoyed the evening, the views, the guy who runs it (nick?) and the rib eye steak. Book a table. Oh, also excellent cheese board, the one for 2 would be easily good for 3.

A warm welcome always awaits from the friendly Landlord and staff for whom nothing seems to much trouble, Its a fantastic place to find great locally sourced food and Drink, The beer is always kept in perfect condition. which is rare thing for the real ale lover these days. I highly recommend the Porthleven. Along with the infamous boathouse burger!... More

Tables quite close together and cramped spaces. Meal was OK but nothing special. Chicken breast in butter (?) was dry and small portion, served on a bed of probably one new potato, a carrot and some greens. No sign of anything liquid. Hubby's steak grisly and luke warm. Noticed a couple on the next table walked out n left their... More

Purely by accident did we stumble across this quaint pub & restaurant with its quirky decor and amazing views of the harbor. All the food freshly cooked and was told as much as possible is locally sourced. I had the Scallops followed by the Skate and both where absolutely delicious, the portions sizes where excellent and its nice to get... More

Its nice to find a menu where you fancy all the food on it instead of just one or two items. Our food was very good and instead of the mainstream beers they had some excellent local brews on offer .

Individual decor, great outdoor beer garden, excellent view, lovely food, good service, family (and dog) friendly, cool atmosphere. I very much enjoyed a Sunday lunch in the boathouse and would recommend a visit!

Table booked , shown to a table and not advised to order at bar or shown any menus. Ordered and food took 50 mins to come over to the table. Beef was undercooked and very hard to cut. Was offered a free dessert , drink. When I asked for some money back I got told this can not be done.... More

Went for two meals with friends and family. Both times excellent, first mussels, then sunday roast. Beer was perfectly kept too, could spend hours here. Great view over Falmouth harbour. Also, the Boathouse has The Two Most Beautiful Barmaids In The World.
