We ordered lobster and crab and were equipped with bibs, a mallet, a bucket for bits and crackers. Delicious, but very messy! Prices as expected - lobster is never cheap, but a great seafood meal.

We had prebooked and when we got there we decided to dine outside, the waitress kindly held a table inside for us when it got cooler. We both had 18 prawns which was a lot but absolutely delicious. Would have loved even more of the sauce as it was lovely. I didn't have a desert my wife had the lemon... More

The decor of this place is very cute! The name suits it perfectly. Menus are up on the boards and you can clearly see what's on offer for the evening and the breadsticks and pot of crab brown to dip was a nice touch and got my tastebuds going :) being an absolute seafood fanatic I basically ordered everything on... I ate here during the Tall Ships regatta when every restaurant, cafe and bar was heaving with people. Despite the hectic activity, staff in The Shack were friendly and attentive and did not give the impression that they wanted us to eat and go to make space for the next customer. The food is very good and the rustic decor... More

Small and informal restaurant. Friendly service but a little bit slow. You can reserve a crab or even a lobster when you book in order to avoid disappointment. We had oysters and then a really good ‘shack stack’:scallops, mussels, shell-on prawns, squid, and crab. The wine list is small. Good quality seafood for the price. Would recommend this place.

Stopped here for lunch whilst walking back to the Maritime Museum car park after coming back from a boat trip. Ordered whiting with tartare sauce and it really was good, hot, tasty and not too expensive.

I went for lunch with my boyfriend. the oysters were delicious, the crab was veery nice and big and the prawn salad was very tasty. Staff very friendly. The only bad thing I can say is the price of the lobster.... Thank you anyway for a veery good lunch =)

Booked into the Shack on our weeks holiday in Falmouth. Lovely food and service once again. I had the Lobster which I ordered in advance which was nice. Service was prompt and friendly. Daughter ordered the prawns which was ample. Not cheap but atmosphere is lovely. Slight grumble that we didn't manage to book in for a second visit as... More

With the friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere, this place has a really good buzz in the evenings. The food is really good (some of the portions arent that big but they're enough), great crab and prawns (ring and reserve crab and lobster if that's a must have for you) and the prices are reasonable - including the wine (house wine... We tried to get tables as we love this restaurant but they were fully booked and we were disappointed. They not only promised to get us in the following night but brought out two coffee's to the outside seating area for us and just made us feel 'like the customer mattered'. Great customer service guys and can't wait to eat... More
