My wife and I had an evening meal here last night. Everything was just superb! The menu was unusual and the food was beautifully cooked and presented. The cocktails were great, especially the Long drop. The wine was reasonably priced. The staff were very welcoming and really knew about the food...Great! When we return to Falmouth for the Tall Ships... More

We had a nice meal at Amanzi, Food was unusual but enjoyable. Wine list was really disappointing. So much so that it would stop us returning. Also lighting was very poor. Could hardly read the menu!

My husband had scallops, chicken curry and coffee bay mud pie, i had muhammara, mussels and koeksisters - all were excellent. Great friendly service, and pretty good value for money - highly recommend it.

Nice atmosphere when we arrived raised our hopes, but getting the starters 30 seconds after we ordered wasn't what I expected. Microwaves are OK on a limited basis but don't make it that obvious! Main courses were better but not up to the level of Wildebeest or Samphire on previous evenings. Ice creams were home made, but the coconut didn't... More

Thank you for taking the time to review us but to say that you recieved your starters in 30 seconds is a bit of an exaggeration. Your starters were freshly prepared on the day and of the 5 components that made up your 2 starters 1 of them was microwaved. I would be interested in how squid would turn out... More

Have been here with friends. Excellent the calamari appetizer and very good the unusually prepared fish. Generally everibody was happy with the food and only heard positive comments. The wine list must be improved.

Arrived in Falmouth without a table booked. Everywhere was full but Amanzi fitted us in. Lovely authentic menu and fantastic flavour combinations. Not what we would have picked first but really glad we ended up there. Service was great and a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant too. We had the tasting platter on the specials board which was delicious.

Shopping with your wife on her birthday is never an easy task but it was certainly made more bearable by this little gem on the Falmouth high street. We had an amazing vegan tapas plate with the Kenyan Dengu being the star of the show and topped up the special with some house seafood plates to bulk it out. Great... More

Visited Amanzi with my partner while on holiday in falmouth for the week and managed to get a table on the friday night. We had an excellent time, I ordered the fresh fish broth, which was cooked to perfection, while my partner had the Braai style ribs, which were larger than he could even cope with. The atmosphere was ideal... More
