Was fortunate to find this restaurant three years ago for Sunday lunch and now it is a must on every visit to Cornwall. Having again visited in the summer and had a wonderful roast pork lunch, the crackling is fantastic, we had to return on our short winter break. No Sunday this time but mid week lunch but no disappointment.... More

Friendly service with a good atmosphere. Very tasty food and good wine. If you want something original this is a great option.

One of the best Sunday lunches in Falmouth! My partner is a 'veggie', but after asking the staff, they happily provided a full roast beef lunch for two, with all the meat on my plate. Can't argue with that!! Lovely meal.

A late summer lunch, much enjoyed by three friends, one a veggie, in pleasant surroundings and with courteous staff. South African themed food prepared to the highest quality and presented with humble pride. A very enjoyable experience.

What a great evening. Food is amazing. It is beautifully presented and cooked. They have several signature African dishes and all just so different from any other place in town with a great atmosphere .Thank you to you all. We Will be back .

We came here a few weeks ago, very excited to be eating something that wasn't a curry or seafood (much as I love both). We were full of high hopes about this place. Unfortunately, despite a warm welcome from staff and helpful explanations about the menu, the food itself was bland, and ultimately disappointing. Our starter, which was a sharing... More

Thanks for your review and we are sorry it was not up to your expectations. We are surprised that you weren't happy with the African Tasting platter and our Espetada, as they are two of our customers favourite dishes Kind Regards Carolyn and Ian More

Authentic african food. Wonderful flavours in these traditional dishes. The food is excellent, the atmosphere relaxing and the staff extremely pleasant. Only downside is that the prices are on the high side for what is being served. May do well when the tourists are around but don't think the locals will pay these prices on a regular basis.

Thanks for taking the time to provide your comments. At Amanzi we make everything from scratch, fresh, every day. There are no tricks, freezing or preserving of our meals, we just concentrate on providing food that is fresh, full of flavour and tastes great. All this takes time (labour) and money in sourcing the freshest raw ingredients. That is what... More

Myself and 2 work colleagues visited Amanzi whilst staying in the area. This was top of our list of restaurants to visit whilst staying in Falmouth and were so disappointed to find that it didn't open on Mondays or Tuesdays and when we turned up on Wednesday, it was closed due to staffing problems. Luckily we got a table on... More

Many thanks for your review. We are a family-run restaurant and need to spend a couple of days together every week to recuperate. Opening 7 days a week requires a much larger staff compliment and is more difficult to maintain high standards. Hence the reason for us closing 2 days a week in the winter months. Kind regards Ian More
