I celebrated my birthday here and I have to say that I made totally the right choice. The restaurant is cosy and friendly and the food is absolutely delicious. I am a fussy eater but I found everything I had thoroughly enjoyable and would certainly come back here again. My only slight niggle is that it is quite small in... More

The food is amazing here and the owners can't do enough for you, so friendly and attentive - I would recommend this place to anyone. It's good value for money and I've not had a bad meal yet!

Dropped in after watching the football at the next door Quayside Inn and am glad we did. The welcome was wonderful and the food superb. We had Trinchado bunny- chow for starters and it was divine followed by their signature dish Espetada - we were told all about the origin of the food which was a nice touch - we... More

We took the advice of friends and went to Amanzi's for Sunday lunch and we can highly recommend it; if we had a criticism it would be slightly slow service - but I think maybe they were short staffed because this was recognised and an apology was made for the time taken to take our drinks order without us having... At first glance the prices seemed steep.... however when the food arrived it was superb..definitely worth the price. We took a Kenyan national with us and he thoroughly enjoyed the African dishes..... very small restaurant but well worth it

Four of us went on a Saturday night. We all had different starters, mains and puddings so covered a fair bit of the menu. We all said what we had was very good or even excellent so we were well satisfied. The service was friendly and helpful although one of the waitresses had to go and seek the answers to... More

We've had two great lunches at Amanzi recently. Sunday lunch was as good as Mum makes it, great sized portions, well cooked and great value. The other lunch was their specialist African food, brilliant and as a result we want to come back for a full evening meal. Lovely lady running the restaurant and her hubby is the great chef.... My husband and I visited Amanzi for New Years Eve. My husband had ordered the Espetada last time we came and it looked amazing, so we both ordered this this time. Well, it was fantastic and we have not stopped talking about it since, we are both foody people and we eat out often so we were both blown away... More
