Fantastic

We visited Amanzi for the first time this year and had a fantastic meal. I had a fillet steak which melted in the mouth and was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere music and decor is great. A must visit for locals and tourists.

I live in Falmouth and have long over-looked Amanzi following an average experience at its predecessor. How wrong I was. The food is fantastic. Our party of six tried a great proportion of the menu and we were not disappointed: from hung skewers of succulent meat, to generous portions of fish and traditional South African bobotie. The cocktail menu was... More

Went twice to this great place. The first time it was king prawns, the second time the half lobster. Both were delicious as were the dishes ordered by the companions. The half rack of ribs was enormous, much more than can be eaten, imagine the whole one! On the expensive side, but still well worth visit.

Working in Falmouth for a week, and wanting something different from the usual hotel food, three of us went here on the recommendation of a colleague. The place was busy, but the staff were pleasant, helpful and efficient. The menu is definitely not the usual "High Street" fare - the dishes are mostly African or African-inspired. The food was excellent... More

My partner and I decided on a whim to spend last Saturday in Falmouth and we ended up staying for dinner. We hadn't booked anywhere, and we are quite indecisive so it took us a while to decide. Eventually we agreed on Amanzi - and we are so glad we did. Amanzi is a family run restaurant with a great,... More

We ate here on a Saturday night, with no reservation at the beginning of Falmouth week. We were quite late and so we had a cocktail on the terrace out the back before being seated which was delicious. For starters we shared calamari (best I have ever eaten) and a stewed beef dish (also incredible). We then ordered and took... More

We went in a Friday night and were lucky enough to get a table without booking. There was a good selection of drinks with my non drinking partner able to have some superb mock tails. My heavily meat based starter was great, as was my partners vegetarian salad. My main of espetada was fantastic as was my partners Hake steak.... More

Visited during Falmouth Regatta week and pre-booked a table for three. We have been before about two years ago. When you go out to eat, you expect something a bit special, perhaps presentation, tastes, flavours, ambiance and service being a bit different. Amanzi certainly hits the spot and ticks all the boxes. I tried the Espetada which is visually stunning... More
