We only had the basic cream tea, so our review is limited in scope. However, the cream tea itself was well worth the visit. The Waymarker itself is off the beaten track, so you will only find it by accident, or if you are specifically going there. We had read the reviews, so when we found it - by accident... More

The best way to spend your 50th birthday is with the family you love and what I consider is the best restaurant in Cornwall. We traveled down from plymouth to visit the flicker centre, and this was my third visit to the waymaker . Fantastic food, excellent location but what makes a good restaurant is the people that own it... More

Always so well presented and so fresh and tasty. Had the Greek salad this time. So many things in it and I wish I had had a double portion because it was so good. My husband had the Scampi & chips again. They are really good too. I know because I nicked a couple or three. Then we madly enjoyed... More

Stopped off for cake and tea in a cafe but got so much more. Situated in the woodlands near constantine. The cake is perfectly presented and drinks are lovely too. The staff are so friendly and inviting. The food is of such a high standard. The wildlife you can see here is amazing as well. I highly reccommend this lovely... More

Five of us went for dinner on a lovely sunny evening. The restaurant is in a lovely setting and the staff were lovely and very welcoming. The food was very good , ample portions and delicious. We have already booked for their Greek night later this month and are very much looking forward to it.

On holiday and tried the restaurant for an evening meal having seen reviews on line. It was really good talking on the phone to book a table, friendly, helpful and good humoured. The restaurant is out in the countryside but quite easy to find. The views out over the old quarry with vegetation, birds and flowers are wonderful. The decoration... More

We just popped in for coffee and cake over the weekend so can't comment on the food as such, but the cake was fantastic! The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the restaurant is in a beautiful setting. It was a gorgeous day so we sat outside and our little girl made the most of the children's play stuff...
