Due to dreadful traffic in Falmouth we found ourselves starving and looking for food We tried the waymarker entirely on spec. Slightly put off by the appearance. It looked a bit like a cafe at a caravan site. However the food was really excellent and the staff very friendly and attentive. We had a great time and would wholeheartedly recommend... More

Went to The Waymarker for my Mum's 60th Birthday. What a treat. There was 8 of us altogether and all of our meals were delicious. Two of us had starters, 8 main courses 6 puddings, bottle of wine 5 beers and non alcohol drinks under £200. The food is freshly made to order and the environment is relaxed-such a friendly... More

We enjoyed a beautifully presented Cream Tea which was served on a Cornish slate cake stand and decorated with strawberries and raspberries. There were a choice of scones, we opted for the traditional and cinnamon with sultanas ones, they were all delicious. The tea itself was from the local Tregothnan tea plantation and was full of flavour. We found the... More

I've been to the Waymarker for dinner before and was blown away, so when the suggestion to "take afternoon tea" with some light jazz, out near Gweek was proffered I knew the invitation had the Waymarker written all over it. It was a perfect way to spend an August afternoon. Now you can't really get over excited about cream teas.... More

We stayed nearby and had our first (and best) meal in Cornwall here, Beautiful food in a lovely, relaxed setting with very friendly service. So good, we returned again and found the food and service was just as good on our second visit. From a personal point of view, I prefer to eat a little later than the 6pm closing,... More

This restaurant does amazing cream teas. The staff are extremely friendly and welcoming. We phoned in advance as we were looking for somewhere we could go with our dog to get out of the rain! They were more than happy for us to bring him and have a covered area outside. The service was excellent and the cream tea was... More
