Well worth the drive

My husband and I were near Falmouth and I googled "best cream tea Falmouth" which led us to The Waymarker. It's out a ways down a narrow country road but we found it easily. It was truly worth taking the diversion as our cream tea was something special! The kind and funny lady running the place is... read more

A great place to relax and enjoy food imaginatively and simply made wonderful. Yesterday we only wanted a light lunch. Lovely to discover Samphire in the little salad with the perfect Calamari. I had a Crab Gratin which also came with the same delicious salad. You are never hurried here and it is a perfect place to go for a... More

What a gem! This little out of the way place is a hidden treasure. Lovely staff, lovely food, lovely place. GF options clearly marked on the menu. Fabulous high tea, tasty and beautifully presented. We will be back soon to try the butternut squash and maple scones!

Wow, what a place! The food is fantastic, the place is so clean you could eat off the floor! The staff are so very friendly and helpful. I wish I could give it higher marks, the place is exceptional - make sure you pay a visit when you are in the area - we will definitely be going back!

Our second visit to the Waymaker having been given a very nice christmas present of afternoon tea for the whole family, so after a lovely walk building up an appetite we arrived to a lovely warm welcome and a truly delicious afternoon tea, sandwiches with the crusts off and lovely homemade scones. My one complaint would be the extra miles... More

We booked for a family meal, the menu was the draw as we all like this style of cooking. There is plenty of parking and on entering the restaurant we were made welcome straight away. The room is clean and well furnished in a contemporary style. The waitress was helpful. The food was delicious, well cooked and presented and helpings... More

Whilst on a weekend trip to Cornwall we were in need of a cream Tea. The Waymarker came up as recommened so we took a punt and stopped there. WOW, the cream teas were gorgeous, wish we'd had time to sample more of the menu, guess a return visit is called for.
