First visit but won't be the last! Delicious starters and roast dinners. Generous portions couldn't eat pudding too full - next time though. Menu varied and interesting and attentive service. Had the most heartwarming mulled cider too. Perfect!

Visited the Waymarker for the first time in a party of 6, we were the only couple not to have visited before and we were pleasantly surprised by the simplicity of the whole place. We booked a late table because of work but even so the food was great with 2 roast meats and vegetarian choices left as well as... More

Only a one mile stroll from our house yet this was our first visit to this charming cafe / restaurant. Three of us dropped in for a light lunch having seen the interesting menu on the website. My wife and I shared the Seafood platter; absolutely fabulous and plenty for two: the third member of our group had the Brie... More

Its our first visit to this hidden away' cafe/restaurant. We received a nice welcome. The owners were preparing for an evening party but found us a table to have tea. The tea cakes were nice, and with a hot chocolate came to about £4. Would recommend.

I called to make a reservation for my father in laws birthday as we were a party of 7 and from the moment we walked in we experienced great service, friendliness and special touches that really make a difference. Great menu choice from light bites to cream tea's and a specials board offering a great selection. Everyone had something different... More

Latest of several visits over last couple of years. Lone female 'front of house/waitress' always really welcoming & accommodating. Menu is varied & interesting without being overwhelming. 2 of our party of 4 had paninis, 1 a haloumi & couscous salad & lastly a crab sandwich on wholemeal bread. The food was fresh, tasty, (including the accompanying salad) well presented... More

Lovely food, plenty of it and friendly service too. The sea food platter was beautiful with a wide range of sea food and very good value for money. Looking forward to returning when back in the area. Would and will recommend to anyone. Whether you're just a couple or a family with young children everyone is catered for.

My Husband took me to the Waymarker today, it was an adventure getting there down the narrow country lanes, but do not let this put you off as the food is to 'die' for, with a very friendly greeting on arrival the food is exceptional, withn so many dishes to chose from, you will leave this place very full as...
