Lazy lunches. Decadent dinners. Sublime shellfish. Hooked on the Rocks is a quick walk away from the bustle of Falmouth town and is all about beautiful, relaxed and fun dining experiences. We overlook Swanpool Beach, across Falmouth estuary and over to Pendennis Castle and St Anthony's Lighthouse. It's a spectacular setting whatever the weather, and we love to share it with everyone that visits. It's a view that inspires. And it definitely inspires the team down here every day and influences both our menus and our ethos.Hooked on the Rocks is the place for the best Cornish seafood and shellfish. Our chefs focus on the freshest fish, using whatever our fishermen have to offer that day. And we make sure it's sustainable too. We love Cornwall and we love fish and our aim is simple: to serve up great dishes that show off Cornish produce in a relaxed and friendly environment. Our ever-changing platters are a great way to try local shellfish, our crab and lobster tank is an old favourite for crustacean fans, but we always make sure we've got a few steaks on, and vege options too.Hooked on the Rocks is great for a morning coffee in the sun, a long and lazy al fresco lunch, or the perfect way to end a hard day out and about.

Seafood lovers dream. Amazing views included

Loved this place! Best restaurant we visited in Falmouth, hands down. First the location was excellent. We walked round from gylly beach just as the sun started to set, which made it very picturesque. The bay was very nice and the restaurant had great views from on top of the rock. Yes granted, there is a plastic gazebo outside, but... More

Several things make a good restaurant not just the food but the staff, the brigade the location and the decor - to name but 5. Hooked scores adequately on only the food. A glorified beach shed with an outdoor area under a plastic tent like structure with ancient benches reminiscent of a run down motorway picnic area and an indoor... More

We visited here over lunch time and sat outside over looking the sea. The food was delicious. Definitely my favourite meal of my holiday. The fish was incredibly fresh. Between us we had fresh fish, gratin and crab. All excellent.

Another restaurant with a bit of a chequered history. A few years back, as The Three Mackerel it really reached the heights. Fantastic setting with great sea and cove views and a really talented chef. Good decor, crockery, cutlery and excellent service - even if the maitre 'd could be a bit of a teasy harridan. It then became Indaba... More

We booked a table by the window and had an amazing view out over the beach and ocean. The service was fine although a little slow, and the drinks were terrible - they were actually served with no ice (I had to ask for a glass of ice to put some in myself) and the mojito my wife had seemed... More

Perfect for a fine dining experience outdoors. Good, creative menu and friendly service. Go on a sunny day and enjoy the taste of excellent food accompanied by a salty sea breeze.

When booking by phone for yesterday evening with friends were told they were nearly full that evening so no window table were available. On arrival thebrestaurant was only about 25% full so were readily offered a window seat. We immediately noticed how diirty restaurant was (old chips on the floor, stickiness around table etc). Ordered wine but white wine was... More

The location, service with a smile, freshly cooked food couldn't be faulted. The seafood platter was spot on and very plentiful and the chicken curries filling and very tasty

A fantastic evening that didn't disappoint on any front. The view from the restaurant was amazing - and would challenge any exotic location in the world. The food matched - it was fresh and beautifully cooked. Our only disappointment was that it was the last night of our holiday and so we couldn't go back!!!! If you are visiting Falmouth,... More
