Falmouth's Hidden Gem

I suppose if it weren't for Tripadvisor, this would be a place strictly for those in the know - off the main strip, not heavily advertised, we were recommended to this place by our hosts for the best shellfish in town. It did not disappoint. Rustic, unpretentious and informal inside, this... read more

Whilst on holiday just had to eat here based on TA member's reviews unpretentious surroundings, fantastic fresh seafood with very friendly service - seafood at its best (note cash only) thoroughly deserves its reputation - there seemed to be 2 sittings one at 6pm and one at 8:30pm - we ate at 6pm everyone was helpful and very friendly especially... This is our second visit to this wonderful place and were not left disappointed. This time we brought some friends and were so pleased they were as impressed with this place as we were. Thank you again for a wonderful meal. We shall see you again next year.

Visited 23rd May with my Wife and Daughter and enjoyed it so much we done something we never do and went back two days later on the 25th. On both occasions the three of us said how much we enjoyed the food. Myself and my Daughter both meat lovers but my Wife prefers fish so this resteraunt ticked all the... More

Don't go if you don't like shellfish, don't go if you want top class service...and if you want to go, book well in advance or you'll never get a table. This place is just wonderful. It has great food and incredible atmosphere, lovely staff and perfect quirkiness. I'm never disappointed! (When I can get a table)

Luv the food, luv the staff, luv the atmosphere. What else is there to say. This is a great set up with fantastic seafood. Probably the best crab I have tasted including in the U.S! Tina who looks after the place has created a great atmosphere to sit and eat with friends and family. It is a small place packed... More

Excellent food for fish lovers. Fabulous sauces also to compliment the fish. Be prepared to get messy and tuck in. Very reasonable prices. The restaurant has a great ambiance do not miss. Book early to avoid disappointment.

Simple, atmospheric and crowded, we enjoyed very much. Getting a table is challenge though! Finding the restaurant too! We eat great scallops, followed by a whole crab. Dealing with the crab was a challenge, but owner Tina kindly came and chatted and have us some helpful tips! Excellent salad and potatoes too. Staff and service good also. Choice of wines... More

As much a theatrical experience as a gastronomic one. This eccentric restaurant was a highlight of an excellent week in Falmouth and I'd go again at the drop of a hat. The seafood was a fresh as a sea breeze, perfectly and simply prepared and very good value. Staff and decor are equally charming and characterful.
