The food here was amazing, loved the flavours. Service was great, would recommend booking in advance of your trip.

Walked in to Samphire off the street on a Sunday evening not knowing what to expect but had a lovely meal - especially after the pair of inebriated men who had decided to invade the premises were gently removed. Our starter of ham, egg and chips was like nothing else we had eaten - a ham hock, runny Scotch egg... More

We decided to go back to The Samphire as we had a lovely meal here when we visited Falmouth last year. We think the food was even better. We chose the tasting menu. All courses were delicious and presented extremely professionally. The value for money was good as well as the service, which was efficient and friendly, and knowledgeable. The... More

We had booked a table in advance and were pleased to find that when we arrived that the restaurant was warm and welcoming (I have just read the previous reviewer commenting that she found it too cold so obviously the restaurant had taken this on board). Our waitress was extremely good, very helpful, attentive and friendly - a really good... More

We went for a happy romantic evening - the food was adequate, but there were t lights on the windowsill behind, and one caught my brand new coat on fire - ruined. We were not even given a discount on the meal, and the owners attitude was rude and aggressive, and the appropriate legal poster was not displayed.

I can't believe its taken you 4 1/2 years to leave a review about this!!!! No you wasn't given any discount on your meal, but you was fully reimbursed for the cost of your coat which we think is very acceptable as you did place it in a window full of candles for a special valentine evening. More

Took the family for daughter’s birthday and used their basic two courses for £15 – worked well with a few adders and deviations. Restaurant was surprisingly busy for wet and windy Tuesday evening – the one waitress managed very well. My only complaint is the restaurant is never warm enough – noted several guest keeping their coats on. Defiantly advise... More

Sometimes I do not understand the Tripadvisor rankings - why is this restaurant not in the top three in Falmouth? We have eaten here on each of our three trips to Falmouth over the past 18 months. The first occasion we had the tasting menu which was superb, the second occasion was Valentine's night which was not so great and... More

I cannot praise this restaurant enough. The food is probably some of the best I have ever tasted. I had the Pork and the explosion of different tastes in my mouth was amazing. All my friends thought their food was fantastic too. I definitely will be going again.
