We ate lunch at Samphire - we chose the Prix Fixe Menu and it was perfect. The food was imaginative, tasty, very freshly cooked and the restaurant has an easy pleasant atmosphere with friendly service. The menu price included a glass of wine which made the 2 course menu excellent value considering the quality of the food and the surroundings.... More

Samphire defiantly deserves recognition for its outstanding food and service, as locals we enjoy eating at this establishment as much as we can. The local produce and standard of the food is very good value for money. The waiting staff are always extremely friendly to us and go out their way to make our evenings perfect.

We had an early sitting due to our little boy. The staff were fantastic very friendly, welcoming and made me feel at ease. Great with our little one. Both my husband and I are vegeterian and we had a lovely meal. We both had a different option to eachother for the main's and I can say they were both delicious.... More

Made a last minute decision to go out for lunch. We were welcomed and made to feel at ease. Although our lunch of Belly Pork for one of us and Roast Beef for the other was a plated meal it was tasty and well presented. Our host was hospitable and the environment relaxed and pleasant. We will certainly return for... More

On our first evening in Falmouth, my husband and I drove into town to find some dinner. We had initially been hoping to go to another well reviewed restaurant, but I had failed to make a reservation as I thought Good Friday may not be a popular evening to eat out. I was quite mistaken and we found ourselves meandering... More

We ate at this restaurant having seen some good reviews and had a recommendation. Whereas there were some good points (my mail course was enjoyable and well cooked), most elements of this meal were so poor we will definitely never return. The biggest problem was the staff, one waitress was on her first shift and clearly had little training, the... More

Visited here with family having spent a few days in Cornwall. We had been recommended here by one of the B&Bs we were staying in, so booked for the Saturday night. Initially it was fine but when the mains came one of the meals (steak) was overcooked and it had to be sent back. This was only however after approaching... More

This restaurant was recommended to us by a bed and breakfast but we will be suggesting that they stop recommending here asap. Whilst some of the food was okay, my meal - a rare steak - was terrible. Cold chips and a steak that was well done (and burnt) in places and uncooked in others. Genuinely worse chips than I... More
