Beautiful meal!

We ate here after a recommendation during our trip to Falmouth. Food and wine lovely. Customer service very good. Would definitely go back.

Incredibly rude service from the outset, arrived and was seated to the loudest waitress I have ever come across. We ordered and as you do in restaurants listening to the chatter of waiters as they go round and serve customers well let me put this way the service here was something to be desired. Not for the faint hearted. The... More

A very friendly patron, wonderful food and superb unhurried service. The owner could not have been more helpful. Another visit is defiantly called for.

This restaurant was recommended to us by Jo Kelly from Telford Guest House in Falmouth. We hadn't booked in advance but we were warmly welcomed. The portions are not gigantic but the quality is fantastic. I had French Onion Soup to start and my wife and I both had Chicken Ballotine as our mains. The flavours were delightful and it... More

Visited Falmouth for a day out. Arrived at lunch time looking for a good meal that wasn't fish and chips. What a great find. We spotted the Samphire Bistro on the main drag (Arwenack Street) What a fantastic lunch... We had Tempura vegetables followed by chicken Ballantine both of which my wife said was gorgeous, I had the ham hock... More

Great food and service in this lovely bistro! Had the best dinner in Falmouth! Nice to find a restaurant that is owned and managed by locals who know their food and wine!

We went out to eat with another couple. We arrived at the restaurant and there were another few couples dining. We should've known it wasn't going to be a good night when we were met with 'it's been a crazy night'. It was only 6pm! Our starters arrived. I had the mackerel with egg. The egg white was translucent but... More

We wandered about, looking through windows and reading menus and didn't see anything we fancied until we came across this charming Bistro in the High Street. Attractive room, warm welcome and very good food and wine. We enjoyed our meal and will come again!

We have been regular visitors to Falmouth for countless years and visited Samphire regularly since David and Emily opened it about 5 years ago. As we now have family in St Austell it's been a while since we came to Falmouth but were delighted that Emily recognized us and greeted us like old friends. They have a very good bistro... More
