We found this restaurant by chance only just having arrived in Falmouth. Everything was excellent - food, service and pricing. Thoroughly recommended.

This was the most expensive of the restaurants we visited and unfortunately the lowest in our rating. The food was fine and would not disappoint but I just think their are better restaurants to be had. Not a bad call if you are looking for restaurant and the food was good but we had better in Falmouth.

We were enticed by the specials board outside and were not disappointed. The lunch special of local mussels with hand cut chips and a glass of wine for £10 was terrific value, and probably the best and freshest mussels I've ever eaten. Great use of local and seasonal ingredients and very good and knowledgeable service (although admittedly it was a... More

My wife & I went for her Birthday celebration, we had the 5 course taster menu which was delicious. Our waitress Amy was excellent. We sat downstairs it was perfect for the evenings celebrations. We will definitely return.

A delightful restaurant in the midst of Falmouth's restaurant quarter. About 40 covers upstairs with a double aspect onto the main street and a side street leading to the quay. Food is excellent but having visited twice in a week the service the first time almost caused us not to visit the second time, it is clear that a very... More

We dined on August 29. We own a couple of holiday rental flats in Falmouth, and always review the guests' comments re. dining, trips etc. Samphire is always recommended highly by our guests, so we gave it a try. With it being Tall Ships Week and very busy, I made a reservation. The internet booking system worked well. We dined... More

We stopped here for lunch last week after being enticed in by the lunch offer of mussels, chips & a glass of wine for £10 (such good value!). There was only one poor guy front of house meaning that he had to greet, seat, take orders, run food, make drinks/coffees ...And he was clearly struggling - I think more staff... More

Six of us needed a good meal fairly late on a Saturday evening, and after some persuasion the team squeezed us in downstairs. We had an enjoyable meal, the service was good. The scallops and slow cooked pork starter I had was tasty, my hake main nice, if fairly small. My husband had rabbit loin ('lion' on the menu!) and... More
