We live just up the hill from this restaurant and have been enjoying it at least once a month since it opened. Always the very freshest fish and also the freshest gleanings from the tidal waters. Tonight we had stonebass with sea vegetables and mussels. we also had a very acceptable white wine (they serve 500 ml carafes). Choose the... More

Just had our first meal at Samphire my husband had the lobster which he rates as amazing, me I had the fillet steak which was cooked to perfection, the desserts were to die for. The restaurant was spotless, glasses and cutlery were shinning, a very nice calm atmosphere. We would certainly recommend it and will definitely be visiting again soon.

We were just a bit fed up, as well as hungry, after traipsing round Falmouth looking for somewhere to eat. It was past 9.00pm and we'd had a long drive from Surrey. One promising place had already stopped serving. We'd also had a less than friendly welcome at Prezzo's, busy but still with a number of empty tables - we... More

We visited this restaurant with our daughter and her partner to celebrate a birthday and it was just lovely. The food is wonderful, cooked to perfection and the waitress was helpful and knowledgeable. I had a perfect fillet steak and my husbands monk fish and scallops were wonderful too. We'll certainly be back as soon as we can.

Next course being... More

We were in a party of eight. The food and wine was excellent, along with the service. We will definitely eat here again when we return to Falmouth.

Ate in Samphire twice in our week in Falmouth. The food is excellent and, in some cases, innovative with a sense of humour. However, the front of house staff need some drinks training. My husband asked for a Campari and soda and the girl didn't have a clue. The following evening we heard someone ask for a dry sherry and... More

Came upon this restaurant as it is near the marina where we had berthed our boat while sailing to the West Country. Perfect meal, great service and atmosphere. Seafood platter to die for. Definitely recommend a visit.

Excellent restaurant, slightly pricey but they offer a very good value half lobster, Fal mussel and crab salad dish for £25 - really good value and beautifully presented. Would definitely recommend for this dish alone.
