Excellent location and good food

Yet another visit to the Gylly and again not disappointed. Excellent location adjacent to the beach with fantastic views to the bay. If you want either a snack, breakfast or a tasty meal you would not be disappointed. Brilliant.

Excellent choices of meals especially their Steak Night on a Wednesday Night were we had a rib of beef for two, with two sides and a choice of sauce for £40.00. They do other steak dishes as well. Thursday night we ordered again very nice meals. Excellent hospitality and of course the sea views.

Was in Falmouth for my fiancees birthday and started the day with breakfast here. £7.95 for a massive breakfast which was cooked to perfection and very tasty. Drinks weren't cheap but OJ was freshly squeezed, coffee was good. Overall great breakfast and spectacular view. Will definitely go back.

I love a good fry up, nothing wrong with theirs, but for £8 not including tea / coffee, I felt like I was paying for a beautiful location rather than beautiful food. Toast, lovely thick slice of wholemeal, Mushroom was done very well, cooked but still firm, not greasy, Hash brown form the freezer but crunchy and again not greasy.... More

Hey Craig H, Thank you for taking to time to write in and share your review. Sorry to hear we didn't 'wow' you with our locally sourced breakfast. We do on the whole get incredible feedback about our huge portions and local produce that we serve out on our breakfasts, sorry you didn't feel the same. We do of course... More

I wanted to give praise to the staff & service at Gylly Beach after a visit between Christmas & New Year. The cafe was extremely busy and over the years I've learnt to be patient with the service here (but good things can take time). On this occasion you guys were absolutely spot on, and we could see how hard... More

Gylly beach cafe is great because it's right on the beach, but I don't know how much I'd visit if it wasn't due to the price! A lovely place to go for drinks after a walk on the beach, makes a great date but only if you're willing to spend a bit extra than usual.

Hey Bethany W, Really sorry to hear you felt our local homemade produce wasn't good value for money. We have dishes ranging from £6.95 - £10 which cater for all dietary needs and tastes. We do make everything in house and also use local Cornish produce where possible, this does come at a slight extra cost but the difference in... More

Great place even when the wind is howling and the rain was going sideways! Lovely beach cafe right on the beach just outside Falmouth. There is inside and outside seating and even in the winter you can eat outside but with cover so you can bring your furry friend. Lunch was amazing - i ordered the fish cakes which were... More
