My favourite place to visit in Falmouth

I love this beach cafe and always visit when I'm in Falmouth. Now my daughter has left university I shall miss our coffees overlooking the sea and being able to watch the day go by. We had a meal on our last visit which was really lovely and good value for money. The place is always buzzing and it... read more

Really good beach bar...local lager on tap...beautiful pots of mussels...fish and chips ...sit in or out...young enthusiastic staff. Really good fun with a cracking view on to the beach.

An upmarket beach cafe with a good choice of food and wine. You can dine inside and out but in fine weather it gets very crowded so it's best to book for an evening meal. You can overlook the golden beach with the sea not far away and boats of all sizes in the bay.

Really nice position, however we had to wait far to long for our meal 3/4 of an hour just for fish&chips and were disappointed with the quality of the meal and the price, we had a lime &soda half of bitter and two fish and chips . Cost £30 not good

This is a great location for dinner on a summer's evening. We shared scallops to start and then both enjoyed the COTD, beautifully cooked hake with a really tasty sauce. There was a great atmosphere and although busy the service throughout was excellent.

We called in here after an evening stroll and manged to get a table outside which was no mean feat. We got served at the bar quickly the only criticism would be was that by the time our table was cleared of the previous occupiers drinks we had nearly finished ours and the waitress hovered until we finished making us... We visited Gylly's on both nights of our stay in Falmouth, each times we sat out on the decked area overlooking the beach. This is a great spot for a drink and a really nice atmosphere and the staff couldn't do enough to look after us. We also ate here on one night and had their burger - it was... More

Visited yesterday on a drizzly Sunday and had a lovely Cornish breakfast it was delicious, well cooked and presented. My friend had the pancakes and said they were fab. Stunning views over the bay I will be back next time to try the barbecue.

Nice wine but had to wait to long to get served. Bar staff seemed to be busy not serving customers! We were not alone thinking this as others we talked to had the same experience.

Hi there, I am really sorry the service seemed slow, we have had huge problems for the past few weekends with a broken till, this has massively slowed down our bar service. We are really sorry that you didn't have a great experience. Our tills are now all fixed and so normal great speedy service should be resumed. More
