Excellent roast pork dinner with glass of house wine or pint of beer a very reasonable £10 with live music too! Well done. We loved the buzz in this place, the price and music obviously attracts a crowd, looked like quite a few students in this nice relaxed beach cafe. Lots of seating and some nice looking out door space... More

Came here for a VERY light lunch on a beautiful afternoon. Lovely views. Clean beach. It was quite cold so I sat in the lounge area of the Café. I enjoyed a couple of pints of the local cider, which wasn't Rattler but I didn't catch the name. I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly. The manager... More

The location of Gylly Beach Cafe is second to none. The ideal place to while away an hour or 2 with a coffee or a glass of wine. I never sit inside as I find it too noisy but the verandah is great as long as you are sitting under a heater with a fleece blanket. The food is fairly... More

Stumbled on this little cafe when we had a wander from our nearby hotel. It was really busy and you have to place your order at the counter so we had a small queue. Food menu choice was great and in the end we both ordered the smoked salmon fishcakes with poached egg and hollandaise for the bargain price of... More

We had two lovely meals here (the chips were a bit bland) which were absolutely lovely, especially for a little beach cafe. The ordering system is slightly long-winded with you having to source a table then order and pay at the till. There are heaters outside, so you can have a lovely beach view even during winter, which my friends... More

We usually avoid gylly cafe because the service system is often a shambles....today it was fine and the food was SO delicious. I had lovely fresh tasty lentil and cauliflower curry. Being a veggie who doesn't like goats cheese often there is nothing I can eat in restaurants that cater for everyone. It seemed like someone who cared about veggie... More

We are a tricky party to accommodate; two teenagers, two seniors, one gluten free, two vegetarians, one muddy cyclist....but we all felt comfortable and were well catered for. I enjoy Gylls for relaxed atmosphere, good food and pleasant staff.

We waited until 6pm for service to started and were promised we would be served our food prompt (particularly as there were only four of us). Still no food after 50 mins, so we left !! Have just looked at their review comments and feedback which was rather cockey

But the grumpy dark haired girl on 6th January ruined the overall expression. Redeemed by the same staff the previous evening. Food was fab.

This is a wonderful place for just Coffee, a very naughty hot chocolate (with bells and whistles) or a main meal. Gylly Beach Cafe is just perfect, and very popular, so on fine days be prepared to wait, especially if you want "outside" (partially covered) seating.
