An ever-surprising gourmet treat.

Remember to book well in advance if you wish to eat here. The size of this simple restaurant belies the gourmet treat ahead. From the start, Wendy makes the welcome a happy experience, with a unique style and greeting. The food is always interesting, ever-changing and a joy to the tastebuds.I have... read more

This is a place with delicious, seriously prepared food and a commitment to challenging the expectations and palettes of its customers. We played it safe with delicious fish pies. If we were more adventurous we might have sampled their more inventive fare. But we were very happy, and the woman running the restaurant was delightful.

Don't be fooled by the simplicity and rustic feel to this restaurant, it is something very special. My husband was in a bad mood when we arrived, and as we sat down, a huge party of around 30 people piled in behind us. My heart sank even further and my husband began huffing and sighing, complaining about the bright lighting... More

Oliver's deserves all its praise and more. Ken and Wendy offer an amazing, inventive menu and genuine, friendly hospitality. It's one of those rare restaurants, where you pour over the choices and are stuck to make a final decision, because everything sounds so delicious (and is). You are welcomed with complimentary canapés and an amuse bouche, before delving into the... More

Small and brightly lit, this restaurant provides first class food at keen prices. We had to book a long time in advance to get seats here, and I'm not surprised. Kenny the chef and Wendy foh, have been in the hospitality business in Falmouth for many years, and their experience and friendliness attract a loyal cliental. I don't believe I... More

A warm welcome heralded a fantastic lunch served with a smile and lots of information about the mouth watering menu. We only intended to have two courses but ended up with all three because as it was just too tempting and after the high quality of the first two courses, we felt sure the desserts would be as good, and... Went for dinner with my daughter, as one of her friends had visited for he birthday and recommended the place. I have eaten in a lot of high end restaurants, and all I can say is WOW! Great atmosphere, excellent service and the food well. Brilliant!

My boyfriend and I came here on Tuesday evening. We'd been meaning to go for a while but due to work schedules only recently managed to make a booking. You definitely need to book as it's quite a small restaurant, especially on a weekend. We were greeted at the door and seated straight away, service was great and the wait... More
