We had the baked camembert starter which was delicious followed by the fish and chips. They were hand cut chips and freshly caught fish, the food was all beautiful and the service was excellent. There's a great deck right on the main st with a view over the harbour and heat lamps in case it's a bit chilly!

The food is very good...not outstanding as the kitchen is tiny and there are only a couple of chefs working, so obviously you are limited as to how extravagant the food is going to be; but they are very good at what they do. Service is generally good, although when my partner and I ate there recently one of the... More

Four of us were at Hatbour View for breakfast this morning - good food cooked to order. We sat outside with views of the harbour - what could be better!

Came for a drink and ended up eating here since another recommended restaurant was closed on Monday. I must say thank God for chance! Excellent service and food

Probably worst ever restaurant for service we have ever been in - arrived at 7pm and food order not even taken by 7.45. Left after paying for our drinks and for some reason they were short of menus so we gave ours to the next table. A big disappointment.

The view is pleasant and the service is very nice but the food is only average. I had a starter (grilled sardines) and a main (mackerel) and both had the same sweet balsamic salad and bland grilled veggies with it. Of all of the components, only the mackerel was above average. Nice people there but not for a place for... More

We went in here for a drink before we decided where to go to eat, looked at the menu and decided to eat here as well. We both had sardines to start which were with medveg and were really good. I then had mixed seafood in a broth for main, which was very good. My Wife had megrim sole which... More

First time trying this restaurant and loved the fish and chips. The batter was very light and the fish a joy. Whole family enjoyed the meal. Staff were excellent as well.

Slightly disappointing visit to this cafe recently, it was better in the past. Started with a sharing platter comprised of olives (very nice but only 2 cocktail sticks provided, I asked for another but it never materialised), 4 meagre pieces of bread, a generous piece of Camembert, 2 small slices of chorizo (annoying as there was 3 of us), some...
