Very nice fish and chips

Harbour Lights had been recommended to us and it was good. Fish and chips were not cheap but very tasty and a good portion was served up quite quickly. Crunchy batter and lovely chips! We ate in and the view over the docks at night was great. The staff were very friendly and helpful and if we go... read more

I visit Harbour Lights almost every Saturday night, as it is a rule of mine never to cook at weekends, seeing as I cook for a living. There is usually a queue, because most of Falmouth knows this is the best chippy. Others are available but just can't quite reach this standard of excellence. The staff work hard to get... More

Harbour Lights has recently undergone even more refit work with the restaurant and takeaway looking bright, clean and welcoming, it was however disappointing to find that when it came to the quality of the food this attention to detail was sorely lacking. Cheesy chips and a battered sausage came to £4.80 and for that amount of money used to expect... More

Hello, and thank you for reviewing us on tripadvisor. Sorry to hear about your disappointment. Quality is our biggest priority (Which the vast majority of our reviews suggest) and when we get feedback that is less than stellar, we do our research to find out what might have gone wrong. Would like to point out that we are more than... More

Superb fish and chips, best in Falmouth. Not the best in Cornwall, but very good. Quite expensive but the nice and clean restaurant.

The staff were friendly and helpful, and the restaurant is clean, bright and has a lovely view over the harbour. The smell of well cooked fish and chips was absolutely mouth watering! However, when we enquired about the gluten free option - having found the restaurant is listed on several sites as providing gluten free fish and chips - it... More

Hello, and thank you for reviewing us on tripadvisor. Very sorry to hear about your disappointment. We've done our best to set the records straight, but somewhere on the internet there will be a review or a comment that we can't control. We don't use the label "Gluten-Free", and we do our best to inform our customers with a mild... More

If you want good fish and chips to eat in or take away this is the place for you. Underneath is a terrific real ale pub with a great selection of well kept ales and not a sparkler on any dispenser, you can buy you food upstairs and eat it with a pint in the pub.

We had lunchtime deal of 3 cod bites and chips for £3 which was really good value and very tasty. You can eat in but as we had our puppy with us, we just went for the takeaway option this visit but would look to eat in on another visit if we didn't have our puppy.
