I treated my wife to this establishment as she loves fish and chips. I love fish but not batter but after a friendly reception that was no problem and I was provided with pan fried lemon sole which was beautifully cooked. Attentive service and a very happy wife. Whilst I usually would avoid "Fish and Chip" shops I would definitely... More

Late lunch, but staff warmly welcomed us, despite the cold day, the window with views seats were as warm as the welcome. One famous five meal, ( cod, chips, bread and butter, unlimited tea and the nicest mushy peas I've had for ages) and one haddock and chips. The latter reviewed as the best haddock for years!

Have just been back after having a lovely meal a year ago. This time was very disappointed as the chips were hard and my wife and I had very thin watery fish with thick slimy batter. Great views but disappointing food and £37 for 2 adult meals and 2 kids meals was very steep for fish and chips. Would I... More

Hello, and thank you for reviewing us on tripadvisor! Apologies for a less-than-stellar experience. We certainly don't aim for people to come in and have a bad time, quite the contrary - something I hope our other reviews on tripadvisor would show, but unfortunately not in this case. If there was a problem with your food, or something about it... More

Straight forward fish and chips but nicely cooked. We ate in and enjoyed a simple unfussy atmosphere, pleasant staff, good service. My only regret (hence the poor score) was ordering Plaice to be told there was none so we said two Haddock only to be told there was only one piece left so it was just Cod or meat pies.... More

Hello, thank you for reviewing us on tripadvisor! You are absolutely right. We've obviously did not keep up with demand on Monday night, and I will work on correcting this in the future. It's sometimes difficult because while we have lots of cod available at all times, supply of Cornish Haddock and Plaice isn't quite as straightforward as I would... More

Handy restaurant in the middle of the high st in Falmouth. Larger restaurant behind the take away shop. Lovely views of the harbour and out to sea. Staff friendly and good quick service. I noticed there were some families eating there and they had chairs etc for the babies. Best of all wonderful Cod and Chips and Mushy Peas

We visited here for fish and chips to take away and were very impressed. Clean, great service, value for money and great food. The best chips and curry sauce I have had for a long time. My husband had a piece of cod and said it was great tasting and cooked to perfection. Great service too. Definitely worth a visit... More

Lovely spot overlooking the harbour, good service, great fish and chips, decent local beer. The takeaway is as good.

Was disappointed with the fish and chips . The chips weren't that well cooked and the fish we had was mostly batter. Although the batter was light and fairly good I had one mouthful of thick fish the rest was almost wafer thin . Was codling not cod . Shame because the view and surroundings were very good.

Hello! Thank you for reviewing us on trip advisor, and I apologise for a lacklustre experience. I would like to point out that if there was a problem with your food and the staff had been notified, it would have been replaced. We make no secret of this (It's even got it's own little section on our menu). Thin fish... More

My scout group decided to make use of the takeaway part of the restaurant to provide the evening meal for nearly 30 kids and 6 adults. The food was still hot on arrival but we discovered that some of our order was missing meaning that 3 adults had to wait whilst the remnants of the order was collected.
