Visiting family in Falmouth and they said it was the Best Fish & Chips in the world. And they were right. Food is really good, batter is perfectly cooked and not greasy. We ate in, food was served nice and hot. I will say service is a little lacking, but from the States so expectations for service are high. I... More

On holiday in Falmouth, went here as saw great reviews. Ordered 2 regular cod and chips, and a child's cod and chips. Regular cod was reasonable size and tasty, chips were very greasy and soggy though in fairness I have come across potatoes myself like this when cooking at home. My real problem was the child's cod clearly I accept... More

We cut down all the cod ourselves and weigh them, and they all hover around 100-110g (which is about 3.5-4oz). I'm sure that your piece did meet these requirements, but that it was an oddly cut piece that was ultimately not meant for your plate. I do apologise for that, and we will review our practices and see where we... More

By far the best fish and chips I have ever had fresh, well cooked and large portions. Lovely view over the harbour and the staff were a delight. Don't get Steined go to harbour lights, if you love good old fish and chips this is a must visit.

Have eaten here before but not left review! Passing through after day on the beach had fish supper with partner sat on the quay watching the boats. Both had cod and chips which was fresh and tasty! Well worth the stop off.

I just had to respond because it's not often that our takeaway gets a mention on here. It's a very "falmouthian" thing to sit down on the quay and watch the water go up and down and boats going by, with a treat in a takeaway box. It's a very romanticized notion, isn't it? Lovely stuff :). Thank you for... More

There is nothing complicated about this place - it simply serves great fish and chips with a lovely view from the restaurant over Falmouth harbour. I was tempted to go to Rick Stein's but decided on Harbour Lights and very glad I did.

Beautiful Fish with very good chips. Much better than the overrated Rick Stein . Good service. Great views over the harbour. Especially grateful to attentive waiter who moved us to a table with a much better view as soon as was available.

I've had a take away from here before but hadn't left a review so after another visit to Harbour Lights last week, I'm making sure to leave one this time! On my recent visit, I opted to get sausage and chips and I wasn't disappointed. The sausage meat was of high quality and not the cheap rubbish you get in... More

Visited this eatery due to a Telegraph article which included it in its "Top 10 Budget Restaurants in Cornwall". We were not disappointed. We opted to sit in rather than have take-away. We had totally sublime cod and chips with garden peas, bread and butter and a pot of tea for two - sitting at a table with views over... More

Having been here in previous years and thought it was ok, we decided to have supper here on our first night (after a 13 hour drive). I had joined their email mailing list prior, thankfully I did ! 3 cod @ chips with 3 soft drinks came to £40 !!!!!!!! Even with the 25% discount voucher still an expensive chippy... More

Walking through Falmouth and deciding what to cook for dinner when this delightful smell of fish and chips came my way! Harbour Lights has a take away and restaurant with an amazing view of the harbour if your lucky to get a window view!! It is a family run business with very polite and helpful staff. We both ordered fish&chips... More
