Relaxed on a weekday

Weekdays usually quiet so it's a very relaxed place to dine in the evenings. Food is great but a little pricey for the quality and its a gamble whether or not your server will be in a good mood or not! Regardless the place is good enough to go again so I would recommend it .

Booked online for a night in Chester after reading reviews and wasn't disappointed. The staff were all pleasant and attentive. We chose the Bruschetta con funghi as a starter which was delicious. I followed with the flash grilled steak with garlic & parsley butter with chips. The wife went for the Polo al fungi with chips. We really enjoyed the... More

I was very disappointed in our visit last Sunday. We were sat next to a table with screaming toddlers which was a bit annoying who kept throwing their toys on the floor every 2 minutes, The waitress came over to take our order and told one of our party something they chose was not on the menu but didn't suggest... Warm welcome at front desk then downhill all the way from there. Found the waiter to be most abrupt, took our order without any particular interest. Food itself was pleasant, can't really say anymore. No-one returned to the table to ask if we were enjoying our meal, we were not even asked if we would like more drinks. The restaurant... More

Dining with a group of friends and hadn't eaten here before so didn't know what to expect. Modern and slick setting with a good vibrant atmosphere. Large restaurant with most if not all covers occupied. Service was fab in terms of attitude and timing. Food was tasty to be fair but my girlfriend's food wasn't as nice as she had... More

Having been several times we thought this was a safe bet for Mothers Day lunch. The restaurant was very busy. Service really poor and the food was below average. Not the treat out that we were expecting as a Mothers Day treat!

Majority of our group of 8 were happy with our meal. Problem with a mistake on one dish- wrong one turned up. Waitress argued about it. She also didn't get that we wanted Mediterranean veg and kept offering us green veg which were fine (I gave up trying to get the med ones). Also one dessert was missed. The 2... More

Been to Piccolinos many times over the years and the food is always consistent. The staff are attentive and friendly ( only gripe is that they can be a bit slow sometimes ) the portions are generous I especially like the salads it's not your cheapest of Italians but it is good quality, and so worth it. Went last week... More

Had lunch here and was a tad disappointed. Service was good and my companion's pasta dish looked good (wish I had ordered it!). I was really looking forward to a pizza but although it tasted OK it didn't look particularly appetising. The base was 'wet' and the rim was too hard. It was lunchtime and I made a point of... More
