Found this lovely place on a recent visit to Chester. Looked very inviting and the staff were friendly and helpful. As I am dairy free, a tearoom usually does not cater for my needs but they were able to offer a delicious homemade carrot soup, roll and dairy free spread, and tea with soya milk. My husband (who can eat... More

I came here for afternoon tea last month as part of a friend's hen do. I loved the Alice in Wonderland theme running through the place, down to the menu's. The tea, sandwiches and cakes were very nice. You could choose one individual cake/cupcake and these were very tasty.

I recently came here and I loved it. Loved everything about it. The menus, the walls, the tables everything! The food was great! I had eggs benedict and a hot chocolate it was delicious and a cupcake to finish which are gorgeous. The staff were lovely too :) I would recommend to everyone

Visited for tea and cake as we have seen the tearoom on Facebook. Having been excited to try the place it was a bit underwhelming. I was expecting it to be really quirky and unique, but it was just a bit average. The staff were lovely, the hot chocolate great (actually the best I've had for ages) and the cake... More

We decided to go for a bite here because it had been recommended. When we got there we were greeted by friendly staff. But I must say the paninis looked horrible. I think it was more the presentation that was lacking. Then I started looking around the cafe. I really think they should be more creative with the decor. It... More

We stumbled apon this cafe whilst in chester and decided to pop in for lunch, the food was really good and the tea was good, we enjoyed it so much we went back the following day. Please don't take too much notice of the below post where they say the manager was rude as we were sat behind them and... More

I had planned on treating my mum and grandma to a coffee and cake here as i have been before and loved it. The cakes are great and normally a good atmosphere. This trip was extremely disappointing, we were seated and ordered 3 coffees, 2 cakes and a tea cake within 5 minutes of arriving, the waitress was lovely no... More

My daughter brought me here to impress me with the food and setting. The decor was well in character and provides a fun atmosphere. However I was wary as she told me that on a visit the week before she had been unable to have afternoon tea without a prior booking(it had been a Saturday) and when she went to... More

This was a return visit and I am afraid to say it is not now as good as it was. Has it changed hands? I seem to remember it being run by two women. A friend and I have a monthly 'coffee and scrummy cake' morning. However, there were only cupcakes available - brownies had been made but were not... More

We had tea and cake here. The tea was a breakfast blend and was really nice as were the cupcakes. Unfortunately the owner did not seem very chirpy and it would have been nice for him to smile a bit more.
