If you like Indian food, do try the (great value) south Indian buffet on Sundays: highly recommended! We have been 3 times now in 2 months and the selection is always excellent! We have also had lunches here, and a la carte. The food and service are always excellent. I am surprised that some people find the food bland. I... More

Saturday night at Koconut Grove Chester we did book a table in advance. The ambiance was great, fun and lively. The decoration was modern, the lighting was good, tables and linen all very clean neat and tidy, it looked great inside. Staff are all very friendly and lots of lovely genuine smiles. Good selection on the menu and not over... More

If you are looking for something different to the usual Indian, then the Koconut Grove is well worth a visit. Offering food from Southern India, the dishes are subtle and delicately flavoured. There are still some spicy options but this is food to savour! As a family of 4 with two 10 year olds who only like a Korma, we... More

I eat at koconut groove quiet frequently with my family. I must say its possibly the best indian in cheshire, and possibly in the north west. This time we tried kumarakam fish moli, fennel lamb curry, malabar lamb peralan and mangalore chicken .. A selection of rices, poori bread and paratha bread. The dishes are full of flavour, unique in... More

It makes a change to have a fresh airy clean modern restaurant to eat Indian food in, not a dark flock wallpaper covered hideaway, but of course the food has to be good too. As much as the Koconut (oh please) Grove scores highly on presentation and ambiance, the food left us disappointed. We had eaten a lot of South... More

Koconut Grove is a great Indian restaurant (not a curry house!) Portions are good, the range of dishes is extensive, and the clean flavours are very evident. We enjoyed the whole meal, and cannot wait to go again. Friendly staff too! (In my opinion, it is much, much, much better than a similar place just around on the canal side!)

Serves South Indian food which tends to be more spicy than other areas. This was probably one of the best Indian meals I have ever had. The food was fantastic. Really nice atmosphere and good service. Avoid the draught cobra as it was weak and tasteless and stick to bottled beer. But that was a minor issue. Can't return as... More

Ate here with seven business colleagues and had a great meal. I normally go for creamy curries so enjoyed the Nadan Kozhi Chicken curry. Lots of tasting of each other's dishes, all have vowed to return to the Koconut Grove.

I went to this restaurant last Friday with my husband and his son. We had not been to Koconut Grove in quite a while, so were interested to see if they had maintained the excellent standard of our meals there last year. I am pleased to say that they have. We had a delicious meal, very reasonably priced, and the... More

I have had the Sunday Lunch Buffet here several times and have always been impressed with the quality and range of food. Each Sunday has had a very different selection of interesting dishes; the chef clearly enjoys producing variety - and I enjoy eating it!
