Really disappointed with this one, there is a huge choice of curry houses in Chester and sad to say but I won't be returning to this one. The service was fine and staff were friendly but the food was so bland and was certainly no better than a supermarket takeaway ready meal.

I was recommended the Koconut Grove from a member of Bubblews and decided to try it. We were at Chester for our 20th Anniversary and wanted somewhere really good, a treat. It's on City road, so really handy for the hotels, not far from train station or city centre, the exterior is attractive and inside was rather special, mood lighting... More

Nice crisp linen napkins is often a good indication of somewhere that takes pride in its ambience and food and it really didn't disappoint I ordered their prawn dosa and my partner the beef one. They were both delicious. Good crispy dosa pancakes very spicy with hot veg curry and lovely coconut chutney and a yummy brownish dip. My prawns... More

We enjoyed an outstanding meal having two authentic South Indian dishes - dishes which despite our being greats fans of Indian cooking were new to us and absolutely delicious with subtle, well balanced flavours. The service was also excellent - genuinely polite, helpful and prompt. If you want run of the mill Indian food this may not be the restaurant... More
