I definitely recommend this restaurant: the food is delicious and the service is outstanding. I've just had dinner alone (on a business trip again...) in this place and enjoyed the experience very much. I'm staying at the Premier Inn and this restaurant is 1 minute walk from there. It is very close to the station and also to the city... More

Looking for somewhere to eat, we chanced on this Southern Indian restaurant. The food was excellent, and the waiter very helpful - explaining aspects of South Indian cuisine and how it differs from the more common Indian restaurant fare. We heartily recommend this restaurant.

There were interesting dishes here. It is a really good place to go to get away from the samey curry restaurants all over the country with their identical menus. But there is something weird here. Some of the dishes fall flat and there is very little atmosphere here.

This was my daughters' first sit down meal in an Indian Restaurant and the fabulous cuisine coupled with excellent service at Koconut Grove gave us the perfect end to a wonderful Bank Holiday. Many thanks!!!

I am a great lover of curries and have eaten many, mostly good, in all sorts of places. However the majority of the restaurants share a common culinary heritage in northern India, even though they put their own twist onto each Rogan Josh, and every Biryani is unique. The Koconut Grove sources its recipes from southern India, and so most... More

I visited with friends who all enjoyed the food as much as I did. The menu has a range of interesting options. I chose the karnatacka prawn curry which was delicious. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the food. This is the best Indian restaurant in Chester and is good value.

We have been meaning to go to Koconut Grove for a while and wish we had gone sooner. South Indian cuisine is quite different from your standard Indian restaurant offerings and was absolutely delicious. We shared papadums (very generous serving) before having Chilli Paneer and mixed pepper and red onion pakora - both very tasty. I was very excited at... More

Three nights in Chester we ate here for two of them we have only eaten South Indian food in Newcastle upon Tyne many years ago. First night the restaurant was quieter and the staff had plenty of time to explain the different things on the menu. Second night the restaurant was heaving and the food was equally as good and... I have visited the Koconut grove many times and have never been disappointed. The food is excellent always cooked to perfection and has lots of flavour. My favourites are the kerela fish curry and the karnatacka prawn curry. The portions are generous and are good value for money. The staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. Can get very busy on...
