We were recommended to visit here and as it was early week shouldn't need to book. unfortunately for us there had been a special offer of 50% off meals so it was extremely busy and were weren't seated till after 9. As it was very busy there were some meals that they had run out of which was to be... More

We had a lovely Sunday lunch today. The food was beautifully presented and as tasty as it looked. Kid meal is very generous portion with a price tag of under £6. We would definitely visit again soon. It's now firmly on top of our favourite pub/ restaurant list around Chester.

I went with my immediate family for my birthday meal today. Because we had littlies with us we had a 5pm meal, but there was still a vibrant buzz which is how you want a restaurant to be. First of all may I mention Alice. This lovely young lady is a consummate professional. It was an interesting insight to see... More

Really lovely place to go for a meal. Service was quite slow which is why our waiter informed us he wasn't taking our order to give the chef some time. If was very busy so understandable. Lovely food, slightly overpriced perhaps.

We have visited The Chester fields on a number of occasions on a friend's recommendation. The quality of the food, impeccable service and very relaxed atmosphere make it the perfect place to catch up with our friends. One of my favourite places by far.

I turned up a bit frantic and with 4 very restless kids! They were hungry, it was late (c5.30pm) for us to arrive and order and wait but I explained the situation to the team and they were absolutely fantastic. Service was friendly, prompt and the table perfect for the gang! Nibbles, juice and beer arrived in good time and... More

I was in the vicinity working and decided to take lunch here. Wow, what a quality establishment. The service was excellent, particularly from a Portuguese gentleman. The fixtures and fittings of the place have been thoroughly though out with attractive fire pits in the restaurant. The meal was excellent, but when the brownie came along...the best ever, pure heaven. The... More

Before I start this review, I would comment on the review submitted by Georgie, Chester. Why people do not have the decency to take these matters up direct with the management rather than hide behind the anonymity of Trip Advisor is beyond me. However, to balance that review, Chesterfields was my chosen venue for a very special occasion - the... More

Dear Stephen W, Thank you so much for posting this very kind review. I especially thank you for voicing your very true opinion on comments made by previous reviewers. I enjoy reading poor reviews as well as good ones as it's a great opportunity for us to learn where we need to improve. It's just a shame that when something... More

The Chester Fields is on the A56 just west of Mickle Trafford, East of Chester, and is easy to find. Offering free parking and in a rural location with open fields behind, it is the type of restaurant which relies on repeat business and the weekend trade. Take that in tandem with the very positive TA reviews and one would... More

Dear GeorgieChester Thank you firstly for your kind comments regarding the restaurant and its service its something we try very hard to follow throughout the concept. I have to focus on the negative comments though as without these no restaurant can move forward. I apologise that the meal was most definately substandard and not what we're about. You mention on...
