Popped in for a quick sandwich with friends and ended up with a fresh crisp sandwich with amazing parsnip crisps. Slightly overpriced but will still be revisiting

We have been several times here for Sunday lunch. They always have two or three roasts on the go, with delicious vegetables. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Really good choice of local beers/lagers.

I had a wild mushroom and artichoke pizza which was excellent and the large cheese board was enough for all four of us to share without pigging out unnecessarily. Staff were friendly and attentive. Would definitely visit again when we... More

Amazing food and service. Possibly the best Sunday Lunch in the UK that I have tried. The coffee and cakes are amazing plus the beer selection for my husband is great too.

We were 1/2 hr late for our booking (transport problems) but was no problem. Ordered drinks as we sat down and although restaurant was very busy they arrived promptly, then given sufficient time to decide what we wished... More

Loved the gin menu, relaxed setting and good quality fare. Service was prompt and friendly and the food of a high standard. The setting, on the canal side, is really nice. Well worth a visit
