Great place

We visited Artichoke for lunch and the food was really nice. I had a lovely salad and a delicious cake. All the cakes looked great. The décor was really nice and relaxed and the staff efficient. Also had many, many gins to choose from.

I went to this restaurant on a Wednesday night with my brother. I had tried to get in with friends previously on a weekend but it was always booked up which is a good sign. This place is lovely. The food was fantastic. We had bread and olives for starters and for the main I had the chicken and chips... More

Having tried for the third time I have now decided this is not the place to eat. Orderded a pizza with extra topping at the cost of 50p which I find outrageous when the pizza arrived it was quite possibly the worst I have had in chester and it did not arrive with the extra topping Also had Sunday lunch... Six of us were in the bar side on saturday early evening and had a good time nice staff good drinks, so we decided to book Sunday lunch there. That is where the good bit ends most of us ordered pizza and I can honestly say it was the worst pizza I have ever had, it was soggy doughy and... More

Took a birthday walk along the canal and stopped here for morning coffee. Lovely tasty freshly brewed. Noticed their Monday night offer 2 for 1 pizza so decided to give it a go. Returned in the evening, it was buzzin'. I had the florentine and he had onion/olives, huge pizzas and extremely tasty. We did find room for the peacan... More

Found this place by accident really. Right on the canal just outside town, really nice warehouse type decor, great staff, better food and the drinks menu is amazing, will definitely return for more.

Had a lovely dinner here while visiting Chester with a group of friends. My only regret is that I didn't have a second gin before before the meal!

A wonderful place alongside the canal to drink gin and tonic. The choice of gins is huge too Thank you too for finding and keeping my bag safe when I walked off without it ,leaving it hanging on the back of the chair! We've eaten delicious breakfasts in this restaurant and am now keen to try the interesting menu

This restaurant lying along a canal was a startling good place to eat. We were there for the Sunday Roast which was terrific but I think allmost anything from the menu would have been delicious. I liked the gin menu and had a wonderful elderflower infused gin. Service was very good. It was one of the best meals we have... More

4 of us ate here for Sunday lunch. Booked for 12 noon, didn't realise kitchen didn't open until 12:30pm! Food was delicious and a great selection of cakes & desserts for those with a sweet tooth. It was a nice location next to the river with outdoor seating for when the weather permits. Will definitely return.
