We were looking for somewhere different to go for a Saturday evening meal and remembered that this looked a nice place on the odd occasion we have passed. Its not on our doorstep, about a 40 mile round trip, but it was well worth the journey. A warm welcome from the maitre d on arrival and a friendly service from... More

We stopped here for the night to do some early Christmas shopping in Chester. It I'd a little out of Chester but the park and ride is less than a mile away. The rooms are very nicely presented and the location is lovely beside the canal and they have ample lovely seating outside if the weather permits or plenty inside.... More

Can be hard to find a table in there when busy, but the food is good and well priced and there's always a good couple of ales on tap. It's hard to get served sometimes when busy however (and it always seems to be busy) but that's probably because it's a good place to eat. Recommended

There is a premier inn down the road that i previously stayed in whilst visiting and whilst that was excellent this is another level. First of all the rooms- excellent quality and very very nice, then the breakfast they offer a FREE... More

We like to meet up with friends who live a 2 hour journey from where we live. The Cheshire Cat is of equal distance to us both so it is only a one hour journey for each of us. The food is very good quality and reasonably priced. The presentation of the food is amazing, Everything that comes to the... More

I went here twice last week. I haven't been here in years and I was very impressed with decor, menu and staff. Especially an American waitress called Corrin (I think??) she really made our evening with her sense of humour and excellent customer service, nothing seemed to be an issue. I would/have recommended this place to others and I will... More

We booked to stop overnight from Sunday to Monday. The sun was shining when we arrived so we had Sunday lunch outside in the large al fresco dining area. After a bit of a mix up with the table number, our roast turkey with pig in blanket, roast potatoes, seasonal veg and cauliflower cheese arrived piping hot, and very acceptable.... More
