Went with a group of friends for a meal. Nice selection on the menu - catered for all out tastes. Service was fine, happy and friendly - there was a quite a wait for our order though but we were happy to chat whilst we waited. The drinks were reasonably priced too, no problem there. The biggest let down of... More

We have been twice and on both occasions the food and service were excellent. The decor is clean and modern.

We went for our third visit last week for lunch and it was every bit as good as the previous visits. Its worrying that somewhere offering good food at very fair prices is not busier than this whereas many so called gastro-pubs that offer much poorer food at higher prices seem full to bursting. We had the fish and chips... More

Visited here last week with my fiancé for his birthday. The place is lovely, it had a warm inviting atmosphere even though there weren't many people dining. We ordered the baked camembert to share for starter which was delicious! I had the lamb and my partner had the sea bass for the main course - equally as tasty as the... More

Visited around 8pm on a Friday night having not booked, worried that we wouldn't get a table. Delighted that we could and did. Pizza and a steak, with a glass of coke and a pint. We were served by a lady called Elisha - polite, professional and checked on us at the right time, to make sure we had everything... More

Popped in for sandwich for lunch...absolutely delicious as always...beef on sandwich was delicious ( not packet stuff) ,gorgeous big chunky chips and side salad, all fresh. Can't understand why this lovely pub never has many diners?? Lovely home cooked food, great prices, massive portions 😊

Just been today for a meal with the family, service was excellent, staff very friendly, local people very welcoming and the food was excellent! Appearance of the food very pleasing to the eye, piping hot and not to over powering on the plate. Everything on the menu was priced accordingly to the quality even the childrens menu which my daughter had... More

Really nice pub. The staff are friendly and helpful - one stood wafting my daughters pizza with a menu as she was so impatient ! Good menu of 'classic' dishes - made fresh with good quality meats and ingredients. Childrens 'make your own' pizza is brilliant fun concept and good value. If was quiet despite being a sunny Saturday evening.... More
