When our son and his fiancé said we were going here for a Father's Day meal I was a bit apprehensive as I remember The Millstone as a pub. What a surprise! We arrived during the evening when the village carnival had taken place during the day and the restaurant was very busy as were the gardens outside. There was... More

Wanted to try this restaurant for a while and was pleasantly surprised. The vegetarian roast was very tasty, with a lovely combination of flavours. The profiteroles with sticky toffee ice cream was the best dessert I've had in a long time. Staff were friendly and helpful. Looking forward to a return visit.

Heard some good reviews and not been for quite a while so popped on spec. Delightful staff-attentive and excellent wine. Medium if not limited menu choice but quality no quantity prevails. Top tasting in food delivery and well worth a second visit to try more menu options

Visited today for the first time in a few years. both starters were excellent. My soup was piping hot and the bread was delicious. My roast beef dinner was also excellent, tender but down side not as pink as I like, whilst my husband's sausage and mother-in- law's fish pie were both delicious. Puddings perfect too. Friendly efficient staff. An... More

We came here for a meal with family and we all were very happy with the meals that we had and the service we recieved. It was very reasonably priced for the quality of food and the surrondings of the restaurant area. Will definitely visit here again.

Called here for Sunday lunch last week - the roast beef was gorgeous - perfectly cooked, flavoursome and tender. Service was brilliant, lovely waitress, polite and friendly. The menu was excellent - lots of choice - and not just the traditional Sunday fayre. Will definitely be going again.

Visited the Millstone in Saturday night for my brother in law's birthday. First impressions were the staff came across friendly and the restaurant was warm and very clean. We were shown to our table and given menus and specials and left to decide what to have. Drinks orders were taken and brought very quickly. After a few minutes we were... More

Living in the Village, I have eaten here many times with friends and family, the food is always of a very high standard and excellent value for money. If I had one negative the service and be hit and miss dependent on who is working. The younger staff need to be better trained in customer service, if that improves it... More

We went here for lunch; decor is lovely and a great outside space too. Really nicely done out. We went for gammon and the pulled pork for lunch; both really tasty, great crunchy homemade chips and obviously freshly prepared. Great selection of ales (freehouse) and also good non alcoholic beers on offer too which is great when pregnant! Really good... More
