We visited this restaurant last week for an afternoon tea. The choice of the sandwich and the cake was extensive. The quality of the food was excellent and the waiter and waitress were attentive but not overpowering. We got a nice table by the window. Reasonably priced for the quality. Would definitely return.

We walked around for a while today deciding where to stop off for lunch. I mulled over the menu salivating thinking how tasty everything sounded. I decided to order the Welsh Rarebit, at £9 I was surprised it was so expensive but thought it would be a good feed! I was disappointed! Two teeny tiny 1 cm thick cross sections... More

Lunch for two, so many choices in Chester and yet we keep going back to Zugers. Wesh Rarebit was excellent, with salad and a slice of melon: lovely and refreshing. Gluten free bread always available - just ask. Cakes to die for. Well worth finding this little gem.

Their window displays have long tempted me inside but I only recently managed to get inside to sample their baked treats, it's usually that busy but it goes to show how good their food is for how popular it is! Very tasty cake and tea, loved their take on carrot cake with the icing top! Definitely worth a visit if... More

Lovely spot for lunch, cupcakes and coffee are also very good! I have to (guiltily) admit I've found their black pudding stack to be a fabulous hangover cure... Equally delicious when sober too!

A delightful place for a afternoon tea or lunch. Lovely food and decor contemporary and inviting. However the portions a little too small. My last visit, lunch with my son, we both ordered tuna melts, put together they would have been a perfect portion. Tasty and beautifully presented however. Would definitely go again.

Visited Zugers today for the first time in eighteen months. Nothing had changed from our last visit. Nothing wrong with the food or drink, but the waiting on staff are exceedingly poor. We arrived 45 minutes prior to closing. Only 4 tables were occupied and there were 3 waitresses on duty. We waited and waited at the "Please wait here... More

My favourite spot to go and have a full English if myself and my partner are lucky enough to be off work together on a Sunday. Perfect every time and the cakes and beautiful, Great to sit outside in the summer too, and if you time it right it's a complete sun trap.
