Had a very enjoyable evening at Sergio's. The food tasted great and there was plenty of it; the starters were nearly a meal in themselves so make sure you skip lunch if you're having dinner!! It was good value at less than £40 for 2 people (starters and mains - no room for pudding!) and a couple of drinks. The... More

Me and my wife tried sergios in March 2013, we didn`t book, we just turned up. It was very busy which is always a good sign in my opinion but the staff sat us down with a drink and said they would sort us a table within 10 minutes. The staff were very friendly and to their promise, we were... More

On a weekend coach trip to do the Manchester Ship Canal the next day we were dumped in Chester at lunchtime for a 4.5 hours stay in the rain. The first Italian chain was full, but a kind waitress recommended Sergio's. The food and Pinot Grigio were very good, and the staff mainly lovely. My only gripe was that they... More

We had a family meal here and found it to be a nice little restaurant in a good location within Chester. A few minor niggles its decor has seen better days along with the table lay out, don't get me wrong we enjoyed our stay the staff were polite and helpful and the service was good the food was good... Great little Italian-very traditional! The restaurant was very busy and I can see why. The food was really nice, I had the roasted onion with ricotta for starter and my only complaint would be the size, but portion sizes were big!!! The food was really nice, full of flavour and plentiful. Service was excellent, very fast and very polite. Great... More

It was a Saturday evening and therefore very busy. Our table was booked for 8.30 but it was at least another 45 minutes after that until we were seated. The food however arrived quickly , so much so that we still had half a bottle of wine to drink before we needed a sweet or coffee. The waitress who brought... More

My wife and I went here for a meal on a Friday night. This place seems to get very busy. We had to wait 15 minutes for our table in an area already fully occupied meaning we (and others) had to stand. The place was heaving with a lot of large groups - this made it quite noisy and cramped.... More
