The menu looks quite appealling, well thought out , the staff very freindly , the pricing is competitive , the interior is a bit dated from its former Coppermine days. The food is ok, it could be better presented with a little more flair, but i suppose it is fair value for the money they charge. Would we go back... More

Had coffee here before walking Bickerton Hill and lunch afterwards. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. I am allergic to egg and they were happy to modify my meal to accommodate that. We were a party of four and all had different meals. All were enjoyed. The weather was good so we sat outside with the dog but we're advised... More

Good staff - really helpful. Not sure about the duck wrap but other dishes were good, particularly the starters.

We had been to this establishment many times and have had good pub food. However our latest visit left a lot to be desired, the tables were clean but sticky, the vinegar bottle was dirty and the mustard was brought in the bottle. We both had the same meal and were left waiting for nearly half an hour for the food... More

Overall it was ok but could be better with a little more attention to detail. Service was defiantly with a smile - thank you - food was tasty and piping hot ( we both had the pie) but the cleanliness left a little to be desired. The tables were sticky in need of a really good scrub and the conservatory... More

We arrived on a saturday evening to find the barman rinsing the pipes through from the cellar, not something you would expect to see on a busy saturday night, that really set the tone for the evening.....badly organised staff. We were given two different menus to chose from, when we asked why, the barman disappeared into the kitchen to find... More

We visited with a group of friends after hearing good things about the place. We were all impressed with our main meals, some of the starters were tiny, the goats cheese Bon bons in particular didn't seem good value for just under £6! I had the chicken burger for my main and it was huge, maybe that's why the starters are... More
