I dined with friends early one Friday evening. The food was amazing. Very very nice. Good value. The service was very good too. I have already recommended to others!

Stayed at Oddfellows Hotel, which is just next door, but fancied eating out. We had a delicious meal; fragrant and tasty and very reasonably priced. Would highly-recommend this eatery to anyone visiting Chester. Staff were extremely charming and polite to add to the experience.

After finding the Ruan Orchid I must say we return every time now. We have tried Thai restaurants from Warrington to Northwhich and I must say value for money on the lunch menu really does draw you back again and again. The staff are always friendly, the food is superb using fresh ingredients, the restaurant has a lovely authentic feel... More

Found it by chance and fancied thai. It was most enjoyable and great value for money. We had starters, mains and puddings off the set menu, early bird I think. Really nice and very inexpensive. It got busier as it went on and apparently is two floors, we sat downstairs as you go in.

I was disappointed with the food here especially as most of the reviews rate the restaurant very highly. I have been to a lot of Thai restaurants and this one would rate at the lower end of the scale. The food was distinctly average. Also when I go to a Thai restaurant we like to order a selection of dishes... More

We were tempted in by the sign / board on the pavement as we walked down Lower Bridge Street. The 2 course menu for £7.95 was really very good with a lot of choice and variety covering Thai curries and stir fries etc. Service was good and ambience calm and informal. The quality of the food was very good and... More

Went there for a first date on a Saturday night around 8:30pm and thought we'd have no chance getting a table. We waited just a few minutes for them to clear a table and we were sat down with drinks ordered super quick. Some crackers to snack on, and a main course each. Good value, good service, delicious food. Will... More

Called this restaurant which have been visiting for last 15 yrs +, to a very rude reception, was told to " not call now call back in 15 minutes when I have time", had I called at some crazy hour I would have understood but it was 1815 hrs on a Tuesday evening. I'll never go back or ever recommend... More

The restaurant was very nicely decorated for valentines night. We were welcomed nd invited to our seat. This was our first time and we weren't disappointed. Staff were friendly, foods was excellent, good attention to detail for valentines day. The garnish was carved in heart shape. Presentation superb, many thank for lovely evening.
