Best meal of my life.

My partner and I ate here for a birthday treat in August 2015, and oh my, it is incredible! We have both eaten at numerous Michelin Starred restaurants across the UK, and while they have all been great, this one steals the top spot. We decided to treat ourselves to the tasting menu with... read more

Indulgence afternoon tea was very nice with a good selection of sandwiches which were topped up. The fancies were really delicious. I don't really like cakes and deserts in a restaurant as they are usually overloaded with sugar and flavourings but the ones served with afternoon tea were exceptional. Three different types of scone served wth jam and clotted cream.... More

From arriving and the car being taken away, to the super room and wonderful tasting dinner, breakfast and departure, this was an excellent experience. Will certainly return and recommend to our friends.

Truth to tell I thought the whole experience was exceptional ; I have had several disappointing meals of late in good restaurants but this was not one of them. The service was superb and the food complex, interesting ,tasty and challenging. My only critique was that the portions really were quite small particularly the main course. The wine list is... The 8 course tasting menu was a delight. The simple and complexities of this journey of food were amazing. The serving staff were courteous, friendly, caring and I would highly recommend this treat for a chance to taste some things that you would not normally view on a menu. You really must go and indulge yourselves.

Last year visited Manchester House, Aiden Byrne. Was expecting the same experience. It wasn't! The food was equal, in quality and taste, but there were less courses on the sample menu. The service last night at Grosvenor was mixed, some team v good smiles, pleasant introduction on each course some team miserable and lacking personality just slapping plate on table... More

My 16 year old daughter and I were staying at The Chester Grosvenor and were thrilled to have the opportunity to dine at the renowned Simon Radley Restaurant as part of a gift for my 50th birthday...what a treat! Our 8-course tasting menu was explained to us succinctly by the waiter and bar one course (which wasn't to our liking... More

My husband booked a meal here as a treat for my birthday. We have eaten in the brasserie before (which has always been excellent) but never the Simon Radley restaurant. We opted for the tasting menu which was amazing and exceeded all our expectations! Each course was served by very friendly and professional staff, and explained in detail. The flavours... More

Booked an evening meal here to celebrate our 1st Wedding Anniversary as we were staying at The Chester Grosvenor Hotel. The service was first class. From the moment we walked into the bar area for pre-dinner drinks, we were greeted warmly and offered drinks with some nibbles (nuts & olives) whilst we perused the menu and wine list. Once we'd...
