This is a Michelin starred restaurant and our friends had been dying to try it out. The food was beautiful and I really enjoyed the combination of tastes and flavours. We had the tasting menu and I love the mackerel and rhubarb combination. All the food was exciting. Some of the accompaniments were a bit unneccesary. How much can you... More

We ate here whilst staying in the hotel. Thankfully I had booked a table when making the hotel booking as the restaurant is small and intimate and on the evening we stayed it was full. We opted for the eight course tasting menu and were not disappointed. The food was delicious, each course seeming to surpass the previous in taste,... More

We ate at this restaurant last week and had one of the most delicious meals ever .Each course of the tasting menu was of just the right size ,and we were given a break between each course. We also had the accompanying wines, which fitted each course perfectly. The greatest compliment was, that at the end of dinner no one... More

Visited in a group of 10 for the taster menu. Everything was absolutely exceptional. Especially the bread trolley! Definitely worth a visit for something special.

We celebrated our 30th wedding anniversary with lunch at the Brasserie at the Chester Grosvenor. It is perfect for a special occasion - it feels fancy and everyone was dressed smartly. The food was excellent. We chose from the daily menu and without the champagne (it was our anniversary) the bill would have come to £80, which i think is... More

Absolute first class perfection! The service was gold starred. Attentive, helpful, friendly and polite. The food - out of this world! We would love to visit again sometime.

The ponderous old fashioned interior with faux black marble columns has no windows. The menu has no vegetarian dishes either for starter or main course. The lecture on the ten different breads was an interference with the conversation at our table. Later the lecture on the cheeses went on even longer, with almost every cheese being described as nice. Why... More

I can not fault the food or service, this is by far one of the best restaurants in the North West, they are truly deserving of the Michelin star. I opted for the tasting menu and each course seemed to be better than the last. I was treating my girlfriend for her birthday and they brought out a special selection... More
