Had a fantastic meal at Gloria's this week. Four of us enjoyed a multitude of tapas and a couple of main courses. The food was wonderful - other than the cappacino mousse which had very little coffee flavour to it. The saddest thing however was the waiter who, whilst processing our hosts card payment, was texting on his phone.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. I can only apologise for the conduct of our waiter; rest assured we do not accept that kind of lapse in service level at Gloria's Food and, as hopefully evidenced in most reviews here, we pride ourselves on our friendly and attentive service. (He'll be on dish duty for a... More

This very small restaurant gets a BIG rating from me. It is a culinary delight and provides a lovely new experience if you are taking new visitors to the island. They will not be expecting the sophistication of the menu which provides a wide variety of food, something for everyone, and they will each love their choice! Some Spicy choices,... More

We were in Alderney for a wedding and stumbled across Gloria's due to its trip advisor reviews. It absolutely lives up to its expectation and the food was fab. It is quite an eclectic mix of stuff but all of us agreed the food and service was excellent. We were served by a young guy who was a good laugh... More

This is a small, ambitious restaurant cooking an intriguing range of international food, e.g. tagines, Jamaican lamb stew, Fijian fish stew. A good wine list, and bottles of the excellent Channel Islands Liberation Ale, which is well worth a try. Booking is essential because it fills up very rapidly, and the word has gone round about how good it is.

Food was varied, tasty and the service was attentive and friendly. Overall of all the different places I went out for food in Alderny this was head and shoulders above the rest and lived up to its rating. A must if you are here.

Hidden away off the main street, Glorias should not be missed. Great food, excellent value, bring your own wine if you prefer and excellent service. A great combination. Seating numbers inside are small so definitely one to reserve in advance.

Looking for somehwere for some lunch after a long walk along the cliff. Excellent food, something a little different and very fresh. Staff very helpful and accommodating. Local people used this restaurant a lot and were quick to recommend to us. We tried the new "Go Nuts" salad which was fantastic and the waiter was happy to provide two plates... More

The food was great, the red house wine super and waiter friendly and entertaining! My daughter has a couple of allergies and they were sorted with ease. Although small, this little place is a wee gem and the pricing is very fair.

Fabulous. From the minute you land on the island everyone is talking about Gloria's food and they are right to do so. First class freshly cooked and varied world food. Well priced and well presented.

She has put on new dishes, and my favourite, the Fijian dish of coconut milk fish curry is now clearly myu favourite. An evening at Gloria's is a pleasure, with convivial company and excellent service.
