A group of friends and I visited Jacks this afternoon for one of their signature afternoon teas complete with a glass of fizz as well as the traditional pot of tea. We were served a fabulous selection of delicious sandwiches, mini quiche and bilinis. Followed by the most delicate and creamy shortbread hearts and just when we thought we couldn't... More

We sat outside in the autumn sunshine and had a great Cajun chicken version of Caesar salad, and a very good fish and chips. Friendly service.

We love this place in the High St. It has the most fabulous cakes, the people who serve are very friendly and it is clean. A must for a cup of tea after a long walk or a morning coffee - and cake!

Jack's has the perfect location for people watching or parade watching or simply chatting with friends. The variety and quality of their teas is great, and the lunch menu is marvellous. It's also a good place to have a morning coffee and croissant and perhaps read the local Press or Journal.

We lunched twice here over a long weekend, partly because it was end of season and most other places were shut but everybody here works very hard with great service and great food. Faultless! Nice clean toilets too - always a bonus.

We stopped here for a quick lunch on a Saturday. The high street was a bit busier than we'd seen it before due to the small market but we still got a table outside. We ordered a small onion tart and crab sandwich and both were very tasty. The pricing was reasonable, and the staff very friendly and gave some... More

A nice brasserie with little other choices in Alderney with good service but £8 for a bacon bap (Including the fried egg for an extra £1.00) and coffee seemed a little on the high side! That said on a sunny day and a "Full English" not being available, the service and food were good.

With a light and airy dining room, plus seating on the patio at the front this is a good place to sit and watch the world go by. I had a steak sandwich for lunch, which was thick and juicy and came with mouthwatering chunky chips, all washed down with a glass of wine selected from a diverse and interesting... More

I spend many mornings during my holiday popping into Jacks for a coffee. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the decor is clean and fresh and the coffee is excellent. It is well worth a visit.

Jack's has been in Alderney for 4 years now I think, and the service and quality of the food, and value continues to be great. The prawn sandwiches, and the beer are excellent, as well as the brownies and flapjacks. A must-do lunch location, but sometimes a good idea to book. Recommended.
