We always stop here on the way to Norwich. It is our half way stop off. The farm shop sells a wide range of gift trinkets, garden ornaments and interesting little jars. I love buying little jars of unfamiliar sauces as presents. We bought chilli ketchup and stokes ketchup for Mum. I bought the cranberry sauce with port and this... More

Lovely quick lunch with friends, yummy, good value and great service. Mushroom soup tasted of mushrooms and the bread was crusty with good butter. The interesting non-alcoholic drink selection was quite pricey.

I love la hogue! It is my go to place for lunch with girlfriends and sometimes Sunday breakfast with the family. I also love to get their frozen pastries as well in the coolers, the always heat up nicely in the oven. Also they always have great service and delicious food!

My friend Shelly and I decided to have a girly lunch here and I took some pictures to show the lovely lunch. I felt it was enough money for my Yorkshire Pudding with a venison Sausage Mash and peas at just under a tenner. It was very tasty and I loved it . My friends sandwich with lots of trimmings... Suddenly deciding to go out for Sunday roast lunch, we booked seats in the wonderful 'quiet area', which is a great idea in itself. The grey predominate, whereas families and young children can happily make noise and run about in the main section. We ordered lamb,( which graze on the farm), quickly brought to us, and it was delicious, with... More

We visited La Hogue for a meal when visiting relatives nearby. This is a popular venue with lots of parking. The food is great with a wide choice at reasonable prices. I reconnect the scampi and the burgers. There is a kids play area for those who get a bit fidgety at the table and the shop has lots of... More

We only came to visit the Santa Groto (the best Santa I've ever seen!!), and we ended up staying for lunch. We were a big party including 4 children, but the staff was really accommodating and found a table for us and 3 high chairs! Food came promptly and was of good quality. I can't fault it.

Great selection of food, meats, veg etc, like a little Fortnum and Masons, on our very own doorstep.

We had the La Hogue breakfast and I must say it was one of the nicest breakfasts I have ever had. Terrific quality sausage, bacon and bread. We also tried their scones. Now on this there can be no mistake...their scones are THE best I have ever eaten, totally delicious. They would win the Gold medal in the Scone Olympics!... More
