10 of us went for lunch. Menu extensive and a very good choice. Service was very good although the restaurant was very busy, in fact full.. Value for money is excellent, served coffee as well as alcohol. Good facilities for children as well. Well located close to cathedral and a really nice atmosphere. We would definitely head for this place... More

Stayed here a couple of weeks ago to see family in Ely. The hotel is brilliantly layed out with everything you need within walking distance inside the room was modern but basic, hot drink facilities and a television on the wall. The room was really clean. The bathroom was modern again although the shower wasn't very powerful and only luck... More

We went to this pub/restaurant a few days back and ordered our food at the bar. A wait of 30 minutes was announced at the time of order, and we were ok with that. Over 1h15 later, our food finally arrived and was slammed quickly on the table almost dropping it on the floor. Ok, the waiter was probably not... More

I had the French Onion soup for my lunch, it was very tasty and hot, also good value for the money. My daughter had the soup of the day, tomato and also said that she enjoyed it.

My wife and I went last night for dinner, we ordered the Southern Fried Chicken Burger with relish and chips and the Mixed Grill. The Chicken Burger came with what can only be described as a limp dead, lettuce leaf, it was also very spicy. The Mixed Grill was the second most expensive main course on the menu, when it... More

Enjoyed an evening meal here with my partner, very good prices, we had two meals £10 offer, there was a good selection to choose from. Meal arrived prompt and very well presented, staff were very friendly and when an egg was missed from my partners meal they brought one out very quickly. We returned the following morning for breakfast again... More

Very hit and miss. Many menu selections unavailable. Side salad doesn't exist and cream is like milk. Staff friendly and efficient though but otherwise sadly lacking.

This was by far the most dreadful lunch ever! It was I might add two for £9.99, but I still expected to be able to eat it. My husband and I ordered macaroni and cheese. We got macaroni with some melted cheese on top, no cheese sauce, just dry tasteless macaroni. Obviously not a chef in sight, someone may have... More

Had a meal on a Friday evening. Basic pub grub but well presented, hot and arrived very promptly. Staff were very busy but nonetheless were very chatty and friendly and went out of their way to make it a very pleasant experience. All in all a very relaxed and enjoyable meal, and very good value for money.
