Best in town

For us Pipasha is No 1 in Cambridge. We have been regulars since it opened many years ago. We took our grandchildren to Pipasha when they were 5 and 3, they are adults now and it's still their favourite curry house. Food is excellent, great choice for. We were staying in Cambridge for a week and fancied an indian. We picked pipasha due to its reasonable prices and we were not disappointed as the meal represented good value. We had veg korahi veg balti chicken madras peshwari nan 3 rices plus popadums and pickles. We didnt have alcohol and the bill came to £38 for 3 people... More

We were visiting Cambridge and had a fantastic curry had at this indian restaurant on outskirts of Cambridge. We went twice mid week and both times the food was excellent, flavoursome and quickly served. Service was very good and all staff are polite, friendly, welcoming and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. We are vegetarian and nearly aĺl dishes can be... More

When you walk into a restaurant and ask to seat twelve people and also ask for a high chair for a baby, one of two things happens. The manager either turns white and you leave shortly afterwards - or they shove a couple of tables together and fit you in. Luckily for us - they did the latter. The service,... More

After reading the reviews gave Pipasha a try and expected much, much more. A small bottle of water costs more than a half pint of beer! The drinking glasses didn't look at all well washed. The food was very greasy. We also thought dishes skimped on more costly ingredients eg the Sag Aloo had lots of potato and hardly any... More

Woo, is those Indian "crackers" given automatically? The staff asked me first, but I don't know the official name of the "Indian crackers", so I said no. Then I point to other table's crackers, ask for some, the staff kind of angry and said I just asked u. Woo, pls, just be polite. Food is good.

Excellent food, atmosphere and service. The proprietor took great care of us and help guide us from drinks to the dishes we ordered.

I visited this restaurant today with a colleague while in Cambridge on business, From the moment we walked in the door we were greeted by very friendly staff with a very attentive attitude, all dishes that we ordered were freshly cooked and tasted as good as they looked. There are a host of Indian restaurants in Cambridge, and many are like any Indian restaurant in any town or city serving the very basic curry that people are happy to eat. For the benefit of those that do not know the word curry does not appear in the Indian language, and that is reflected, most of the time in... More
