Great seafood Restaurant in Cambridge

I have read different meal experience in TA for this restaurant, We were only one in January 201, and as seafood lover it was a great (although pricey) experience. Restaurant was cosy and clean, service was quick and efficient (may be waitress was no so prepared about fish, but she did her best to... read more

We had lunch here for two reasons , we were visiting Fitzwilliam Museum opposite and I had a discount voucher. The food is fine for a restaurant chain, the portions a tad on the small side unless you have fish and chips. I was not keen on paying extra for some bread, it bumps the meal price up on what... The two of us enjoyed a good lunch here, just across the road from the Fitzwilliam Museum. Tasty food: gazpacho and crispy sprats followed by risotto and fregula. We had plenty but not too much and at a good price. Service was prompt, cheerful and professional. When we declined wine and asked for tap water instead, we were brought two... More

Myself and my partner visited in February of this year and had a terrible experience, however we were given vouchers by head office and we decided to use them, we actually used the, several months ago but trip advisor would not let me write a review back then. The whole experience could not be faulted, the staff were friendly and... More

A restaurant i really loved going to has really gone down in quality. I have been here many times but this was the worst. Beligerent waitress who really did not know her job. A lot of the menu items had run out and were unavailable. Very, cery sad.

The restaurant is right opposite the Fitzwilliam Museum so was very convenient for us as we had gone to Cambridge specially for an exhibition there. It was clean, cool and airy and the staff were very welcoming. We had the two courses for £10.95 lunch menu that we found most tasty and enjoyable. I had the gazpacho, followed by the... More

Dined here tonight with some ladies from Rotary. The restaurant was not busy but the service was very slow. I chose the fish of the day which was sea bass. Very overcooked and impossible to cleanly take off the bone. The potatoes were nice as was the samphire. Skipped the dessert as the standard of the main course was disappointing... More

Decided to book a table at Loch Fynn to celebrate my sons graduation as he really appreciates good food. We were not disappointed. They were extremely busy, but the service was still very good. The dishes we chose were all delicious. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to seafood lovers

Having been put off in the last couple of years by the attitude to solo diners I almost decided to give Loch Fyne a miss this year on my annual trip to Cambridge. I am so glad that i didn't. The attitude has changed considerably as I have been treated very well on two separate occasions. The food remains good... More
