Better early in the week

Fine if you like not just fish but seafood too (which I don't). Over-priced but staff are lovely, and on a Monday evening it was quiet so quite pleasant. It gets very noisy at weekends with sound bouncing off the tiled walls. Despite the old fishing harbour decor, I always find it a bit pretentious.

We have been to Loch Fyne several times. Each time the food has been outstanding, the mussels are fantastic and the chili squid tempura is first class. Even my picky 11 year old loved the sprat fillets! However, one of the best things about LF Cambridge is the staff. They remember us even if we haven't visited for months and... More

Really enjoyed lunch - very well priced menu. Recommend a visit, busy with a nice atmosphere. Had fish cakes to start and the fish of the day - lovely.

Nice food and service. We had half lobster, razor clams and mussels. Overall very good. Will definitely go back. Nice atmosphere and Vicki and the hostess was excellent.

Had a lovely lunch here in April. My friend's hagus starter and smoked haddock were excellent. I had the prawn starter and fish and chips which were both good. My treacle tart was excellent. There was only 1 not so great dish - a 'deconstructed' dessert with crushed meringue and ice cream. Service was good and would go here again.

My husband thoroughly enjoyed his sea bass and my son and I our classic old faithful cod and chips and mushy peas ! The cod was rather disappointingly thin and not the usual thick white flesh one expects (or hopes for). Chips were excellent and the mushy peas (with fresh mint added) were very tasty and fresh Service was friendly... More

Visited this restaurant with about 15 colleagues for dinner and most had some sort of seafood which they reported was very good. I had pork bellies and it was great! I also had haggis which was very good. I recommend those not interested in wanting sea food to try other items on the menu as my experience outside of the... More

Been here several times over the last few years. My family are massive fish fans but my mother has some shell fish alergies and they helped accommodate that. They also help gluten free people. The staff are always friendly even when they are busy. Really good food. Very good quality.

We arrived to be greeted by two lovely girls, one took us over to our table which was in the window, a lovely sunny spot. We were left to have a chat with our friends, there was no pressure to order, we had drinks then decided to order our food. All very well presented and cooked perfect. Lovely delicious food....
