I've only ever had lunch at Cotto and found it to be great value. The last time we visted we had the fixed price lunch menu which was excellent and also had great choices. The service and atmosphere were good, will definitely returning.

Understated restaurant serving beautiful food within a relaxed atmosphere. The combination of flavours were stunning, the descriptions on the menu made me want try things I hadn't tried before.

I have visited most restaurants in Cambridge and without doubt this is my number one. Absolutely delicious food that is presented with such care and precision. Service is perfect, and all in all it really couldn't be much better. I would be back more frequently if only I was more organised and planned ahead to book well in advance.

Visited on 12th March 2015. Had great difficulty in choosing from the menu as all the courses looked fabulous . All courses chosen were perfectly cooked and very well presented. A dietary issue for one of our table was handled perfectly by Hans the head chef who took the trouble to speak to us regarding the issue and suggest options.... More

It was our first time at Cotto and would definitely visit again for another celebration. We booked a table for 10 on quite short notice so we were shocked to get in. A pre order was arranged via email which meant the evening went very smoothly. The service was excellent and the food was beautifully presented. We were not rushed... More

Aside from mid - summer house this is probably the best restaurant in cambridge - personally I would prefer go here than mid summer house. Food is exceptional, service is great and atmosphere is a nice combination of family - run and big city urban chic (although it is in a small city).

My misses found this place on the Internet as we wanted something special and different for our anniversary. The reviews all seemed great before which always helps. The place is tucked away and neatly presented. From tele moment you call , arrive , eat and leave, the staff are polite and friendly. We both had the scallops for starters, really... More

Dinner at Cotto is a must. The food is absolutely stunning, fresh bread, seafood cooked to perfection and the chocolate masterpiece really is a masterpiece. The atmosphere and service cannot be faulted, good wine list, overall a wonderful restaurant and well worth a visit.

Three of us went out to celebrate a significant birthday. We remember the days when Master Chef Schweizer was at Midsummer House (before it got taken over by the snooty London clientele and manners), and were not surprised to find all the things we used to like there, back in the day.We had tried to get a table at Cotto...
