We have been in our fabulous Bridge Street location since 1996, serving fresh food and drink to the good people of Cambridge. We are passionate about serving the freshest fare, whether it be croissants and pastries for breakfast, with aromatic Italian coffee, baguettes, soups and Chinese food for lunch or a cheeky low sugar afternoon treat. Our made to order juices and smoothies made with fresh fruit and vegetables are very popular, and are a great way of getting your seven a day! We want our customers to have plenty of choice and allow them to choose their own fillings for sandwiches & baguettes, and indeed to have their own ideas for combining fruits or veg for smoothies if they wish. We understand that people take their nutrition seriously, but deliver it with good humour and a smile. For social and corporate events we can supply you with an array of attractive and tasty morsels, ideal bitesize pieces to keep your friends and acquaintances sustained for any occasion. Our goal is to offer fresh food & drinks that are made with health in mind, that we would be happy to eat ourselves. Prepared in a hygienic environment with ingredients from reputable suppliers. Most of all, we care about what we are selling.

Fresh and tasty

A small place that does fresh, healthy food and juices at good value prices. No overcharging - you can get a cup of peppermint tea to drink in for less than a couple of quid. I had the chicken udon noodles, and it was tasty and wholesome. They do a good selection of sandwiches and salads to eat in... read more

We have just had lunch at Bridges whilst visiting Cambridge for the day. Seeded baguette sandwich was very tasty and great latte coffees. Nice little cafe just out of the centre but still plenty going on as its near to the river would recommend

Called for lunch on a busy Sat and ordered soup and Panninis. Soup was very thin and watery and lacked flavour, Panninis lacking flavour, filling and cheese not melted. Not the best by a long shot, particularly since the watery soup was £4:60 a bowl. Won't visit again.

I was a student in cambridge for 3 years. This place felt like home. Great and clean food. Definitly you should try the satay chicken. There are no words for me to describe the amazing people that work there. So if you are looking for a quick and cheap lunch this is the place to go. Right in the heart... More

Stopped in here today after visiting Kettle's Yard - it's about 2 minutes away. Lovely leek and potato soup, amazing brown bread baguette, lovely cappuccino. Almost didn't go in as it wasa empty when we first walked past. Very glad that we did. A great place.

We stopped for quick bite to eat here - although it was a small place it was comfortable and we were able to get a freshly made to order baguette with really nice and tasty bread.

Well worth a visit. Lovely baguettes and a range of juices. Very clean and the owner is very pleasant and helpful. Ideally situated for visiting Cambridge and close to Jesus Green if you want a picnic.

Whilst in Cambridge I fancied a light lunch. Bridges fitted the bill well. It is fresh and clean and staffed by pleasant people. I had a nice cup of tea and a ham and cheese pastry. Behind me the odd customer came and went to buy cakes and coffees etc. It is on the corner of Portugal Place opposite a... More
