I went here on Friday night. I found the decor in here to be really lovely. The location was great. The service was efficient and friendly and the wine cheap! All good so far. Sadly the food was a let down. We shared the mezze and also had the lamb. The harissa was not like harissa I had ever had... More

We passed this restaurant on our way from our hotel but couldn't get in on a Saturday night, so we booked up for the Sunday. We loved the cosy decor and with all the drapes covering walls and ceiling, it was not at all noisy despite being full. We were given a very warm welcome by both father and son... More

My husband and I had one evening in Cambridge (what a gorgeous city by the way) and thought we would like something north african/middle eastern to eat so we did a bit of googling and decided to book Bedouin. We are so glad we did. It was such a fantastic meal and the restaurant was packed, many people were turned... More

I took my boyfriend out for his birthday, aiming for something different, and we were both very pleased with my choice. Excellent location, easy access, with nearby parking, impressive decorations I couldn't keep my eyes off, extremely friendly and helpful staff, and the food...oh, the food!!! We had delicious veg starters, the best lamb of my life for main, and... More

It was my first time here and I will definitely be coming back. I ordered the slow cooked lamb which was delicious. I had it with rice which was lovely and I also tried my friends tadjine bread which was also very tasty. The service was very friendly and the interior is beautiful.

Very friendly staff in a unique place, quietly hidden away from the bustle of Cambridge centre, and only a 15 minute walk from the railway station. It was very quiet on Sunday at 1230 but soon began to fill up. Fascinating menu - difficult to choose. We enjoyed the pitta and hummus while we considered.... my aubergine parcels and vegetable... Very good food in a very nice setting. The place was fully booked the 2nd time I went but as there was a last minute cancellation, I was accommodated immedatiely. The fish dish was very good. Unfortunately, they don't accept card payments which should be common practise in this age.

Just had a fabulous lunch at the Bedouin . The waiter was a very charming young man named Attila who was efficient and helpful . Although not busy being the back end of the Easter break , we still found the place delightful with a good atmosphere . My husbands' prawn starter was one of the best prawn dishes I've... More

Thank God for Tripadvisor as, without it, one would never discover gems such as this. If you are looking for a completely different dining experience, in a unique setting, this is worth a punt! Feel like dining in a Bedouin tent, with the walls and ceiling decked in blankets and drapes; seated on plump cushions or low authentic seats -... More
