Brilliant atmosphere with great decoration and seating. The food was very good, I had the aubergine for main course and it was an interesting and very tasty meal. The Algerian red wine went perfectly with our meal. It is a light wine with a distinctive taste. Highly recommended.

This is such a great restaurant - the carved wooden door, wall hangings, furniture and lighting immediately create a great impression and special atmosphere. I booked for a large group and was really impressed with the friendly and efficient service and the food is fabulous. There's a great range of North African dishes to choose from including some excellent vegetarian... More

Restaurant booked by friends - no idea what to expect before we went........ Very authentic feel to the place with the interior decoration. Food really tasty and good value for money (all ordered a different dish - all equally as good). Restaurant was busy but service was top notch. Definitely going back.....you should try it too!

Wow! We came across this place on Saturday morning during the Mill Road Winter Fair. We only had the spicy soup, but we were both so impressed that this place is now on our 'must visit' list for the future if that is typical of their normal fare.

We managed a last minute booking on the day of the Mill Road Winter Fair (wonderful) before going to a concert in town. What a find! The staff were attentive and charming, the food was delicious (lamb shank tagine and chicken tagine) and generous. Starter and pudding (shared) just as tasty. The veggie options looked equally tempting. Good stuff!

What a genuine restaurant this is. A real sense of a north African eatery, not overly lit with rugs on wall and ceiling all adding the ambiance. Very tasty and varied food. No hesitation in recommending.

We enjoyed a truely lovely evening in this warm and cozy restaurant, celebrating my birthday. The staff are genuine, hospitable, attentive and just made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. The manageress couldnt do enough and for us and really made the evening. Great work guys, we will most definitely be back.

We went to this amazing restaurant for our anniversary in November 2014. The service was excellent and the food was out of this world. The portion sizes are very generous. The tagines are meant for one but can easily be shared. I will definitely be going again.

Kept waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting and waiting. Finally, it arrived . Also why add 10% service charge when cambridge is a well know for tops. Good food but make sure you visit a subway or big mac before you go cuz excessive hunger will affect you taste as the body goes... More

Hi, I didn't quite understand your review, however it is clear that you waited, was it for the food or the order to be taken? Either way 60 minutes is far too long to wait, personally after 30 minutes I would have wanted to know where my food or waiter had got to. In peak time on a Saturday night... More
