A touch of the Middle East on Mill Road

The quality of food and its presentatio. Was good. If you are a vegetarian (which I am not) then you will be pleasantly surprised by the choice. A little like eating out in Greece right now, I'd advise you to take cash as they seemed to be averse to taking cards. Other than that I thoroughly... read more

Popped in with a friend for an early unbooked supper. We both chose the same tagine, with very good bread and a side dish of garlicky green beans. Service was polite, our meals came promptly but not too quickly, and everything tasted excellent - and though I'm no expert, very authentic. The Arabic (IE Turkish) was fine as well. I... More

Good Moroccan food in a pleasant environment. The big drawback is that the restaurant does not accept credit cards.

Lovely and unusual surroundings, much more interesting experience than any chain restaurant. Food was really yummy too - the highlight was definitely the spiced chicken & almond pastry starter. Lamb tagine was also v good and tender. Only downside (as mentioned by others) was lack of card machine but luckily Lloyd's is nearby.

We took a gamble and brought friends here, having never eaten at Bedouin before. But we needn't have worried. We had a fabulous night. The decor is lovely, the low seats extremely comfy and the Maghrebian music completed the exotic atmosphere. We shared a number of starters, following advice from our waiter who didn't try to sell us extras, as... More

The food was delicious. The service was fine. Also, the food takes time to prepare it and bring it to you which mean fresh. But you have to reserve a table before you go and have a cash money, card not accepted.

We'd heard great things about this place and were eager to try it. We arrived at 8.00 and were seated shortly after. The waiter came to take our orders and warned that the chicken would take twenty minutes. Okay, we can wait. Twenty minutes passed. Forty minutes passed. We waved at a waiter, who nodded at us. An hour passed.... More

It really is a shame how unsatisfied customers will take the time to write over exaggerated reviews to make themselves feel better and try to be-little a growing independent restaurant. Yes we were extremely busy for a week night, but please do not forget that you agreed to wait 20 minutes for the table, in which you decided to linger... More

We visited the Bedouin having booked by e-mail, which was confirmed promptly and in a friendly manner. Arriving at the restaurant it was clearly very popular as it was full at 7.30. We were quickly seated and a drinks order taken. The wine was excellent if pricey and we were soon enjoying our starters of marinated lamb & hummus and... More
