I keep returning to the charming cafe. Converting this functioning church into a building that provided excellent light bites was inspirational. The drinks and food - and especially the scones - are good and I love ascending the spiral stairs to look down on the chapel - and other diners.

Popped in here to get a coffee as it was the first place we passed after deciding we needed one. Set in the redeveloped St Michaels church. Tea is £1.75 per person. Coffee starting at £1. 85. Cakes £2.95. Everything clean and tidy.

We stopped here for lunch on a busy day in Cambridge Firstly, it is a quiet oasis in the busy city. Based in a church the surroundings are beautiful, with some seating on a mezzanine level overlooking the nave. Queues built up over the busy main lunch period, but staff seemed to keep on top of the orders. At nearly... More

Converted church - beautiful. First rate home-made food. A bit hippy/veggie. Go after 3pm (?) when what’s left is cheaper! Counter service which is a pain, it can take ages. Nobody clears tables. Horrid noisy chairs. Overall, very very good food and friendly staff. Closed sunday and evenings

Not worth a re-visit. Polite counter staff. Average coffee. Kitchen staff are prepared to serve burnt pancakes and toast. Counter staff apologetic and quick to replace food. Our hunt for a consistently good breakfast in Cambridge continues.

Does a good breakfast in a lovely setting. Nice, attentive staff who helped us to find a shop we were looking for. Would recommend.

This a great place for tourists to visit of a spot of tea and cake or a great cup of coffee. It is more of a destination than a restaurant, somewhere to be experienced. The place is in a renovated church and the way they have designed it is genius. But, predictably it is not all good. The prices are... More

Visited family in Cambridge for four days and we had lunch here twice! Service is brilliant, food is delicious and there is a wide variety! Also the homemade lemonade is beautiful! Staff are very friendly.

Went here on a Saturday morning with around 8 people for breakfast. I think might expectations were too high as in fact it turns out to be just an okay cafe. Just be aware if you order anything with bread the slices are way too thick and over take everything with them.

Coffee unexpectedly good, but food a real let down. Ordered a bacon sandwich - bacon way over-cooked and bread stale and inedible. French toast not much better - stale thick wedge that had cursory coating of egg. Shame, nice location and service
