Great breakfast in the centre of Cambridge. Full English was great and the pancakes and compote were a great veggie alternative. Highly recommended !

This excellent little cafe is only a few steps away from the bustle of King's Parade - and offers an oasis of tranquillity. Good value for its location. Highly reccomended

This cafe is within a magnificent and historic church. The contemporary bright decor contrasts well with the beautiful inner sanctum of the church. It offers a quiet haven for an enjoyable refreshment. Our beverages were enjoyed as were accompanying baking comprising a chocolate brownie and a Chelsea bun. The place is clean with well presented food.

I keep returning to the charming cafe. Converting this functioning church into a building that provided excellent light bites was inspirational. The drinks and food - and especially the scones - are good and I love ascending the spiral stairs to look down on the chapel - and other diners.

Popped in here to get a coffee as it was the first place we passed after deciding we needed one. Set in the redeveloped St Michaels church. Tea is £1.75 per person. Coffee starting at £1. 85. Cakes £2.95. Everything clean and tidy.

We stopped here for lunch on a busy day in Cambridge Firstly, it is a quiet oasis in the busy city. Based in a church the surroundings are beautiful, with some seating on a mezzanine level overlooking the nave. Queues built up over the busy main lunch period, but staff seemed to keep on top of the orders. At nearly... More

Converted church - beautiful. First rate home-made food. A bit hippy/veggie. Go after 3pm (?) when what’s left is cheaper! Counter service which is a pain, it can take ages. Nobody clears tables. Horrid noisy chairs. Overall, very very good food and friendly staff. Closed sunday and evenings

Not worth a re-visit. Polite counter staff. Average coffee. Kitchen staff are prepared to serve burnt pancakes and toast. Counter staff apologetic and quick to replace food. Our hunt for a consistently good breakfast in Cambridge continues.

Does a good breakfast in a lovely setting. Nice, attentive staff who helped us to find a shop we were looking for. Would recommend.

This a great place for tourists to visit of a spot of tea and cake or a great cup of coffee. It is more of a destination than a restaurant, somewhere to be experienced. The place is in a renovated church and the way they have designed it is genius. But, predictably it is not all good. The prices are... More
