I am a picky seafood eater having grown up on freshly caught fish. So much so I avoided eating it when I lived in Germany due the constant disappointment. The Sea Tree has been quite a find for me. My husband and I have eaten in the restaurant on multiple occasions and rarely been unhappy with the food. Mussels, scallops,... More

We came upon this place after visiting Addenbrooks Hospital, Well what can i say it is the mmost fresh fish i have tasted in a long long while. We had Calalmaria and fresh oysters for starters and boy were they fresh. For main i has the grilled mackrell with a fennel salad and teh husband had the traditional haddock and... More

Used to be the one place on Mill Road where you could order your food (in English, anyway), and have reasonable confidence you'd get what you ordered, even if it you were paying a high price for it. Not any more. Language barriers are creeping in. I ordered 2 items: Fish cake and small chips, no salt and vinegar; and... More

Wow, what can I say......Perfect little restaurant on Mill Road, food is cooked fresh, as you order, staff are warm and friendly. OMG the food, to die for, I'm addicted to the seabass. Worth the trip, you will not be disappointed.

I recently read other reviews of this restaurant, and was inspired to try it last night. Even though I watched the fish being cooked, and thinking it looked lovely as it was packed into the take-away box, I couldn't have been more disappointed if I'd tried when it came to eat it 10 minutes later. The fish was completely overcooked,... More

Fresh fish well cooked. Something difficult to find in Cambridge. Good price as well although the dining room is a bit disappointing.

The fish and chips are good quality - I am picky about this sort of thing. The batter is good and that's important to me. The down side is that: 1) the fish comes with skin on as a norm and you need to ask for it to be skinless - why do places insist on the skin being on,... More

Me and my friends had heard about this wonderful little restaurant and it lived up to the expectations we were told. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly, I look forward to returning!

A super little place with very friendly staff. The choice of fish is wonderful and everything we ate was fresh and delicious. I can't recommend the calamari (with alioli) enough and it was GLUTEN FREE - Yay! So nice they accommodate those who can't cope with gluten :)
