Fresh fish, well cooked

We went for a light lunch, and what a treat it turned out to be! I had fresh mackerel on a rocket salad and my son had the large squid. Both dishes were well presented and full of flavour, and not fussed about. Perfect. The place itself was a traditional chippy and still looks it, a bit, with hard... read more

Someone recommended this, it was just great. The range of food was brilliant. We had a tuna burger and sautéed tiger prawns. Staff friendly, does get busy though

This really is gourmet fish and chips with excellent portions. We often have the cod fish but my kids eat the fish cakes which are just as tasty. Sea Tree also have indoor seating which is quite small and compact if you want to eat in. Unlike most fish and chips, these are not overly oily and greasy. Parking and... More

Usually really nice food, but tonight my partner went to buy some (gf) chips, which are a rarity, and the restaurant was closed with 20 minutes to spare! Disgraced by this, and the staff were also rude when he was asking why they were actually shut earlier than they said on their website and on the sign outside of the... More

Sea Tree is the best in Cambridge for very good fresh fish cooked in many styles and responding to all dietary requirements, my granddaughter,s both enjoy traditional fish, mussels and love the seafood linguine. The young people serving both inside and outside weather permitting are friendly and helpful, offering a good standard of service, it is definitely our best fish... More

Great cooking, great value and excellent service - fantastic "everyday" food cooked and served by people who care. More than just a chippie. Not fine dining but nonetheless one of the best places to eat in Cambridge.

Just to get quick lunch, this is ideal place for this purpose, quick, quite cheap and tasty. The best fish and chips in Cambridge.

The Sea Tree is slightly more expensive than your average chippies. They make up the premium by offering fresh quality seafood. I have been here (taking various guests) on numerous occasion ever since arriving in the city in September. Both haddock and cod were fresh with excellent batter. There was no smell of overused oil at all which was a... More
