Copper Kettle has been doing great breakfasts for many years and continues to do so. It's popular with students, locals and tourists alike and it is also very good value for its location right in the centre of Cambridge.

We had dinner here tonight, and were delighted with the quality and presentation of the food, the friendly and very efficient service, the excellent value for money and the ambiance. From the other reviews it seems people tend to have breakfast or lunch here. We think it an excellent venue for dinner, either a deux or en famille. Not to... More

It's easy to walk past the Copper Kettle while looking at the buildings of King's College across the street. We had a lovely breakfast "with a view". Good coffee, selection of teas, pastries, roles etc. Pleasant stop for breakfast, lunch or dinner while visiting the Cambridge historical center. Also available for special occasions and private parties.

Have not been to Cambridge since I worked there over 30 years ago. This was one of my favourite places. I expect that it has changed hands several times. In a prime spot, and the staff were welcoming and efficient. Difficult to go wrong with baguettes and Panninis but they were delicious and very welcome.

Visited for a lunch time meal, good menu choice, friendly staff, lovely food, beautiful views, couldn't really ask for more.

Had a superb lunch in this not huge but not tiny spot in the heart of tourist land in Cambridge (I live here but was treated equally as well as a tourist). I was in fact in the company of a disabled lady and the staff could not have been more obliging and pleasant. The largest and most succulent portion... More

Had a lovely breakfast here with very attentive staff, really good quality food and service. Our only minor complaint was they don't do poached eggs! Just fabulous views though!

Although we were eating here with a Groupon voucher the staff were extremely friendly & welcoming and had reserved us a table by the window with a superb view of Kings College. We had the 3 course set menu and the food was all delicious starting with 2 plates of mixed starters - some hot and some cold - served... More

Lets face it, Cambridge ain't cheap. It has the priciest bog standard B&B's, Fitzbillies, that is nice but boasts the most over-rated and overpriced Chelsea buns on the planet, and you'd need to take out a student loan just to take a tour of Kings College. But Agora manages to be cheap and cheerful despite occupying what must be a... More

Having had a cuppa here in the afternoon, at a street table opposite Kings College, we considered coming back later for an evening meal. After more exploring we did just that, and are we glad we did. It was my husband's birthday and we were on a short break, so as long as it was good we were happy. Beautiful... More
