Great food and service.

We had an enjoyable meal here - our first visit but probably not the last. There were some original dishes on the menu, which we tried and enjoyed - particularly the lamb shank and salmon tandoori starter. It was also very good value at £20 a head for the usual starters, main course and a couple of drinks. Good quality... More

I generally love Indian food in England, but this restaurant was a mistake. The food is greasy and spicy without delicacy of flavor.

Very quiet which didnt bode well. However, the food was excellent and service couldnt be faulted. Menu has plenty of choice.

I have been a regular of the Saffron Brasserie for well over ten years. The quality of the food is always excellent and vegetarians can enjoy vegetables freshly prepared. I usually go for the hotter chicken curries which are delicious, and the breads and side dishes deserve a special mention too. The staff are very experienced and it is one... More

Having never been to Cambridge before, we checked Tripadvisor to scout out an Indian restaurant with a positive review history on our recent overnight stay. The Saffron Brasserie was close to the hotel we stayed in and appeared to be well reviewed. My husband and I walked from the hotel to look for the restaurant and we were quite surprised... More

I went to the saffron as part of my local pubs Curry Club having never been there before, It was busy but service was swift and efficient. The main thing about the saffron is the quality of the food I had been told it was good and it did not disappoint. All the dishes you would expect from a Indian... More

As an events administrator for a large organisation in Cambridge I needed to find a restaurant suitable for 24 very important international delegates to dine at. Habib was able to put together a great menu for us which allowed our delegates to sample a range of different dishes. I could tell from the smiles and the comments of the delegates... More

Just an average Indian restaurant. Nothing special. The starters were nice. Mains had too much colour rather than flavour which is often the case with Bangladeshi cuisine.

Initially we were looking for a restaurant to have lunch after our civil ceremony. Habib, the very friendly and dedicated restaurant owner said we could have the whole restaurant for their lunch opening hours plus half an hour if we ran over. He worked to give the best day of our lives. We had a small wedding but with his... More
