The best South Indian restaurant in town. Authentic food, friendly staff and super fast service. Good quantity and all this at such reasonable price! I order before going there & food is ready waiting for me can't get better.

It is always nice to be able to have a curry house that gives you the opportunity to savour the flavours from the South of India. Cocum gives you that in the heart of Cambridge and specifically food form the spice capital of the world (If I may say) lovely state of Kerala. I had been to the restaurant for... More

When it comes to South Indian food I am a relative novice but the taste of the food was nonetheless delicious, we tried the Dosa and Appam and the green bean thoran which we can highly recommend

The service in this establishment is quite terrible - there was 3 members of staff standing around the front desk for most of the night not paying any attention to the customers (given there was only 2 tables in the place at the time... shouldn't have been too hard) The food was delivered a bit piecemeal, my curry was actually... I was looking forward to sampling south Indian food, and went with some visitors from Bangalore. The service was very poor, the staff didn't seem to care about their customers. Eventually, someone came to take our food order, without asking about drinks. We ordered and the drinks took an age to arrive, bringing them one at a time. When the... More

The place is a small walk up a hill from the centre but actually a very welcome walk after eating! The service is not particularly that good or attentive and can be quite inconsistent. We've had a range of different types of dishes including fish and meat dishes all of which have been excellent. Their dosas are also excellent even... More

If you want to escape the usual menu on offer in the majority of Indian/Bangladeshi restaurants give Cocum a try. We have been several times and have never been diasappointed. The only criticism would be the rather meagre portions of rice, you really have to eke it out, which is a shame.

Being tired of Bengladeshi interpreted Indian food I liked to enjoy some authentic Indian food, Cocum was one of the few options out in Cambridge. Excellent service! food edging next to the original South Indian cuisine. Thanks Cocum !! for making my evening memorable though some dishes were served bit late . Overall it was a wonderful experience with wonderful... More
