Walking distanceof rail station.....

Arrived far earlier than I expected at Cambridge station today so needed something to eat and drink before appointment. This is a short 5-0 min walk down the road from the rail station. Ordered a coffee and also eggs royale, good poached eggs with a french panache for this dish. Coffee good too.

we were in Cambridge on a busy exam-time Friday night, with plenty of champagne-guzzling students on the streets and in the pub where we thought we might eat. The loud crowd sent us elsewhere - hooray for Le Gros Franck we say. Very pleasant surroundings, excellent service and wonderful food, very French and also generous serves. Even a complimentary plate... More

Whenever we visit Cambridge we always pop into this welcoming café for an hot drink and a breather. It is quite a walk from the Rail Station to the town centre so this makes an ideal place to pause. We have not as yet tried the food but it always look appetising and we shall do so, to be sure.

If you've not had dinner and have to pick people up from the train station, this place which is within walking distance is a pretty decent choice for a meal if you plan well. They are part of a mini-conglomerate of eateries in the same area (they also have a steak house and a sausage stall) and serve French-styled cuisine.... More

My wife and I had eaten here (the evening restaurant) a few times, sometimes with friends. You can expect reasonably good food but overpriced drinks and wines. On the last occasion however, we tried a wine and asked for it to be changed. Management refused (they also refused to taste it). We ended up walking out before our final course... More

Needed somewhere to sit and eat for nearly an hour. Fell upon here by accident. Wonderful varied menu, and lovely staff. Would visit again if in area.

We hd a three course valentine set menu dinner with another couple who had booked this restaurant. Although it may not look it from the bright yellow decor, the food is awesome! We had a great value dinner that was served by friendly staff and good quality, fresh and tasty! Good for a quick bite or something a bit more... More

The service was pretty good considering it was a very busy night. The food was excellent. Drinks a bit pricey but a three course meal for two with wine and beer for under £60 was, I thought, really good value. Well worth a visit. We'll definitely be going back.

First class food. Great service. Just like being in a little French restaurant. Close to the Botanical garden (station side) ideal for a drink or full meal. Good prices too

Had an impromptu dinner here with friends. It was okay overall but nothing spectacular. Service was fine but the menu was a bit challenging to figure out. As such it ended up costing us more that we expected. We were also disappointed by the wine selection.
