Excellent service, great atmosphere, good food.

On two occasions now I've had reason to go in asking for a glass of water and both times this was provided with grace and generosity. As well as taking advantage of their free water, I've also recently eaten lunch here. It was tasty and hearty fare and again there was a real sense of care, in both... read more

The food was okay, although because it needed to be reheated it was a little dry. But the staff were very rude.

A little slice of Paris in Cambridge. Great walk-in/take away food. Staff really efficient nd just that little bit disorganised to remind you this isn't a franchise burger bar. Ideal for coffee and a breakfast bacon baguette or a business lunch in a quiet corner in the cellar. Great fun - recommended

Came in late Friday without a reservation but got a table easy for 3 of us. 2 of us had the venison fillet and 1 had the steak. It's was £8.95 on the set menu for a main course. The meat was all cooked perfectly and came quickly. Would go back again.

We had a wonderful meal with such a lovely french waitress who was so attentive and friendly. The food was cooked to perfection and nicely presented. We will definitely be back.

Popped in one evening after visiting the botanical gardens for hot drinks, pastries and ice creams. It was just before closing but the waitress was so welcoming and accommodating to myself, friend and our four children that we decided to return for lunch the next day. Wow, what a pleasant surprise to find the hot counter full of delicious meals,... More

Been coming to Cambridge for a series of appointments and have a 3 hour journey to allow for so have been dropping in here to or from the hospital depending on how much time I have in hand. This time I grabbed a toasted baguette with parma ham and , it was huge but very enjoyable as a take away... More

We went there with a few friends, we did have a good meal, prices are good not cheap but they are ok. The steak was good but unfortunately they tend to burn the outside on what they called grille or grilled Wichita just tastes burnt. The meat was good quality and the potions were good. Service? It was good. Wine?... More

I had passed this place many times thinking I must pop by. Friday night saw a friend visiting & was looking for somewhere close to the train station & had this place recommended so booked a table. The upstairs lighting was quite bright but downstairs the restaurant takes on a more intimate feeling & we took our table. We were... More
