Ok and cheap

Been there twice for lunch in the past 2 weeks. Food is on the cheap side but service is slow. Nice staff and atmosphere. Nothing to complain about, but no wow factor either. Just an ok place for lunch really.

Very attentive staff, the food was very nice and the cocktails really good. We'll worth a visit, especially during Happy Hour when there's two for one on all cocktails

Evening drinks with friend. Didn't eat (though have in the past and enjoyed it). Extremely friendly and happy staff. Good crowd (20s to late 40s I'd say), and good cocktail menu - esp the Dick Dastardly! Go and enjoy!! PS - the Dashwood NZ sauv blanc is fantastic, though expensive

Visited here on a Friday night after having a craving for somewhere to meet, play cards, drink cocktails and eat. We were greeted by a very friendly young girl who was very bubbly and attentive, who quickly found and cleared a table for us. We took advantage of the 2 for 1 cocktails, all of which we tried were very... More

Well been there twice and should have stopped after the first time, however on both occasions, it takes ages to get the food once ordered even if it is a starter let alone a main course. So if you have a lot of patience and time, do visit. Note: noticed that on both occasions it is staffed poorly with one... More

My friend and I were staying in a hotel down the road from The Snug. We enjoyed cocktails and some delicious mac and cheese. Th service was excellent and the staff very friendly and efficient. Shame we don't live in Cambridge otherwise we'd love to visit this great bar/eatery on a regular basis. Highly recommend.

We popped in for lunch on a Friday. Ordered fish and chips and a burger. All good, no problems. Reasonably priced.

Foods ok, reasonable price and quality, nothing special though. Poor desert menu. Not the best bit about the place though. Staff very good - extremely friendly, very attentive and they take your order at the table. 241 cocktails - every day 3pm-9pm, even Fri/Sat which is good. There's a lot to chose from, 50+ I reacon. Expensive at £8-9 each... More

Our waitress was very welcoming and friendly although the food was a bit boring and not ever so flavourful. The nachos sounded great on the menu but unfortunately didn't match up to the description. I might come again to the try the cocktails as we didn't get a chance this time. The music was good, but I probably wouldn't recommend... More

Good beer and food, cozy atmosphere. Unlike many British pubs, the waitress took our order at the table.
