Good food shame about the temperature

We enjoyed a three course meal unfortunately the main meals weren't very hot I would call it Luke warm. The service took a while but it was quite nice as we weren't in a rush.

Visited on an early Saturday afternoon, staff were friendly on arrival and seated us at our reserved table quickly. Waiting staff were friendly, pleasant, and efficient, food and drink arrived in good time and was lovely and very filling. There was no rush between courses and staff were happy to let us have a breather before serving. We previously visited... More

The location and building are great but unfortunately the food and service were very average, I had a steak and ale pie which was very dry with little gravy, my colleagues had passable food but it needs to seriously up its game to match its location. Very disappointing.

I visit this pub to attend meetings quite regularly but I have to ask myself why I buy food there. On every occasion I make a different food choice and without exception the quality is poor - in fact very poor, even considering value for money its bad! When raising the issue with staff the attitude received is ..... one... More

Considering how many years we have lived in this area this was the first time we had visited the Bridge. Just the two of us on a cold and wet midweek night and surprisingly the pub was quite full. Served by very pleasant staff quickly in a nicely decorated room. Food arrived quickly and was fine for what we had.... More

Visits here have been hit and miss - either the service, one of the meals, atmosphere has been lacking. This is a beautiful building in one of the best locations for views/walkers but it never quite hits the spot. Our last meal was OK, there was nothing wrong with it, it just didn't hit the spot, or leave you wanting more.... More

The waiting staff were very attentive and good humoured which made this a very happy experience. I used to avoid this place because waiting times for ordering and meals had become very long but on this occasion it was not too busy and service was excellent.

We went Saturday evening with friends, lovely deco in pub/restaurant. Staff extremely friendly and helpful, thanks Zoe! Huge choice of menu, had scallops & pulled pork for starter, superb... No complaints from any of us regarding any course.. Great value as well. One of the nicest meals I've had for a while.

This is not such a good place now. We waited a long time for the food and mine was luke warm. Lots of thing on the menu were not available. The staff were ok but seemed to rushed off their feet but the place was not that full.
