Have visited the Bridge on several occasions over the years and always found it to be pretty good, but hadn't visited for about 4 yrs. Having converted some Tesco vouchers to Chef Brewer thought we should re-visit. Booked via the Internet this morning 9 ish to visit on the way home from a family visit at about 5.30, our booking... We love going to The Bridge! The food is very good and it is in a lovely location! The staff are all so lovely, we can never fault it. In particular the landlord and landlady are always so welcoming. They really make the meal special.

Went here for dinner with my boyfriend and a friend. The menu seems a bit confused and there are no real specialities for this restaurant/pub. Its all just a bit average. The waiter was friendly enough but the atmosphere was just quite dull. Food was ok but not fantastic. Seems a little overpriced for what you get. Not convinced we... More

This pub/restaurant has an enviable position beside the River Cam. It is a old building that has been extended to provide a very good venue with patio areas overlooking the river. Inside the restaurant has a number of eating areas to promote more intimate dining. The staff demonstrate good social skills and are keen to please. The menus and prices... More

Hadn't been to The Bridge in a while, because of disappointing experiences previously. Decided to go back on a whim and unfortunately remember now why I avoid this place. First, let me say that the food isn't expensive, so I wasn't expecting anything more than quick pub food. We were stood waiting for 7-minutes before being greeted and offered a... More

Serious waste of money, this place makes McDonald's look like a Michelin restaurant. Fantastic location but that's all it has got going for it. . And for gods sake will someone please clear the tables ! ! Will never ever ever visit again

We arrived early, only one other couple in the dining area. We got our drinks and sat at the table, read the menus, the waitress came and took our order, we both opted for the whitebait, it was delivered in plant pots, with a very thick tartare sauce, the whitebait was over cooked. Which spoilt it for us. I chose... More

Have visited the Bridge several times before with Family and Friends. Had visited Cambridge for the day and was going to eat there but decided to call in at the Bridge for a meal instead on way home. Had previously looked on internet and saw that they did 2 courses for £12 after 4pm on Mon - Thursday and when... More

I've been to this pub a few times over the past 5 or so years, but in recently years there has been a rapid decline in standards. Today was the last straw. Turned up for an early lunch after a nice walk down the river. I ordered a burger topped with BBQ pulled pork. Far below par, particularly given the... More
