This is, I believe, what is called a 'gastro-pub', meaning that it offers gourmet food. Not only was the food good, but the server and chef, Shahrukh, served me as an entree something that is normally only offered at lunch. He also told us a lot about the area, and other good restaurants. (How friendly is that?) We normally don't... More

Went here with my wife, baby, and mother-in-law. Wonderful food. Shafee was a great restauranteur, answering all our questions and giving us recommendations. Very great experience and the perfect illustration of what a gastro-pub should be.

Really relaxed atmosphere. Service was good - not pushy and gave you time to chat during courses. Food was good and better than most chain pub restaurants with a better choice

First time visit to the Junction on Tuesday 26th August and we the only customers! However we were treated well by the boss Shafee who made us very welcome and attended to all our needs with minimum of fuss. We shared the starters of baked Camembert which was plain but very tasty and good for sharing. I had the gourmet... More

not a bad place - though a little expensive. Nothing was wrong with what we had, but it wasn't great either. Sorry!

Great food and good beer. Was expecting it to be busy for Sunday lunch but it wasn't so quite a relaxed. Atmosphere.

We went, and the best word I could describe The Junction with is 'ok'! Food was average, beer not up to much in all honesty and not much atmosphere although it was midweek to be fair. The Bar girl was nice, but somehow there's something a bit lacking about this place. Maybe it's better on a weekend and I'm missing... More

Hello Michael, Thanks a lot for your review. I must say that you are definitely missing out on something as you suggested. Now if you say there's not much to the beer i would disagree to your comment as we have premium lagers (all of them) here. We have Staropramen, Peroni, Becks Vier, Guinness, Estrella, Leffe on draught and not... More

We stopped for lunch on Easter Saturday after reading other reviews on trip advisor. We were seated straight away and were impressed by the varied menu. I had a delicious pasta dish from the special menu and have to say it was faultless. Hubby had sea bass which also looked fresh and carefully put together. Friendly and attentive service, spotlessly... More
