Great grub

We hadn't been to the Bombay Palace for quite a while and were there for a Christmas meal with a bunch of friends. The menu had some interesting and delicious things, and the service was good on a busy night. Not cheap but we did have a lot to eat and drink.

We visited in last November and again on last 30 January. Both of our times there were very memorable as the curries and foods were fabulous. First time we had Madras and korma and they were really delicious. Last time we had balti and goan which were truly amazing. I like it there as the guys are friendly and nice.... More

All the dishes were bland and tasted the same. There was very little or no seasoning or spices. The vegetable biryani was nothing more than boiled rice with frozen veg thrown in. We asked for a madras hot curry sauce to accompany the biryani and, bizarrely, received a small bowl of bland vegetables and salad with no sauce! The korma... More

This was my fourth visit with a friend. This time we chose the set menu for £30 which provides generous portions and covers two including starter main course non-bread and obviously rice and a side dish. The staff are always very sweet. One of the waiters remembered my friend and I and it is nice recognition . I really like... More

Visited here with two colleagues on mid-week nights in late 2015 and again early this year. Really good food both times- I had chicken-based dishes from the chef's specials. On the second visit I (somewhat apprehensively) went for a 'hotter' dish, and was pleased to find it was really tasty, not just loaded with excessive heat as I've experienced elsewhere!... More

It's a curry house, there are loads of curry houses.. this one was hard to fault, but well... I could have had a great takeaway for less. Worth a visit, but nothing outstanding on the menu and nothing which makes it stand out from anywhere else. I think the Curry Center offers better value.

The lamb literally melted in my mouth. Beautiful spices and flavours and complemented with a perfectly crispy onion bahji. Not to mention the great value for money. We will definitely be visiting the restaurant.
