Went for the mother in law's birthday. Regular customers there. Today food was excellent as per usual but a certain member of staff was full of attitude. Refused to say thank you, excuse me and just reaches over us mid conversation to collect plates. He didn't want to be drawn into conversation with the customer. The positive is that the... More

Dear Customers , we are changing our menu to concentrate on a new range of Fantastic Steaks supplied by our Master Butchers . We regret that from the 1 Feb the Sausages as they are now will no longer be available . We still offer the best selection of steaks in Bucks all aged a minimum of 21days. We will... More

We visited The Sausage Tree on Friday 2nd January with friends that we had raved to about the restaurant. We have been many many times and have always had a great meals, loved the choice of the food menu, wine and beer menu and the lovely atmosphere. Sadly their menu choice has been drastically reduced with now only a choice... More

A mouth watering range of sausages but a pity that you cannot mix and match. A range of beers are available and a couple of real ales. The real ale was in good condition and i also enjoyed a lovely bottle of white wine from a very decent and varied wine list. Its worthwhile seeking the Sausage Tree out especially... More

Went to eat here tonight having been a few times before and previously enjoyed selecting from their extensive sausage menu including many gluten free options - something you dont find readily elsewhere. Tonight we booked a table and arrived to find out they only now serve 10 different types of sausage including only one gluten free option which was a... More

Booked a table for 10 of us for a pre-Christmas celebration. Paid a £10 per head deposit and had to notify our menu choices 24 hours ahead. I had the Pork with Port and Stilton sausages which were tasty enough but a bit dry, the baked beans and mashed potato were only lukewarm. Staff were friendly and service was reasonable.... More

Was taken to this restaurant by friends who had been before and recommended it. Since their last visit the choice of sausages and beer has been vastly reduced. The choice of potato and veg has also disappeared so you have to have normal mash, gravy and baked beans with your sausages. Given the choice of sausages this did not go... More

Heard great things about The Sausage Tree. Lots about the choice of steaks; the variety of sausages and the general atmosphere. Suspect the atmosphere is restricted to Friday and Saturday nights as it was certainly lacking at a lunchtime between Christmas and New year. The sausage menu is fine in terms of variety but not being able to mix sausages... More
