Recently visited the Sausage Tree for a friends surprise birthday, and although various members of the party were delayed, etc. the staff there were more than helpful and ensured the evening went well. In particular, nothing was too much for Andreea who served us excellently throughout, kept us informed and made sure the evening went without a hitch! Many thanks... More

I've visited The Sausage Tree on numerous occasions with a variety of friends. Each time is a delight. Big tasty menu, vast choice of beverages and friendly, pleasant staff. Thanks to Debbie who gave us a commendably hospitable service this evening! P.S. Dear readers, don't all rush there, I love it as it is x

Could hear the microwave dinging every few minutes, staff were not very informed and didn't want to be there except to argue over what music to put on and have it too loud, just to their liking. Dessert was half frozen half hot and that was the cheesecake. Over heard staff in the beer garden complaining about putting beer back... More

Second visit to the Sausage Tree for my birthday with my partner. Arrived at 8pm where it was very busy. You definitely need to book a table as this place is probably the most popular restaurant in High Wycombe. Very nice real ale and a wide selection of foreign beers/ciders. The Belgian cherry beer Kriek is definitely worth a taste!... More

Welcomed on arrival and shown to our reserved table immediately (booked for 6:30 p.m.) Greeted and menu explained by enthusiastic server - attentive staff throughout the meal, who were friendly, without being over familiar. Good value Super Steak Deal and delicious tender rump steak - cooked how we like (on the volcanic rock!). Salad dressing really enjoyable (not often found... More

Booked a table for a big birthday celebration, though after speaking on the phone twice we wish we'd been advised to prebook our food choices as on the evening we have very limited choice. (The waitress informed us that this is what you are meant to do now??!) Unfortunately there appeared to be a huge lack of communication between the... More

Been here a few times as they offer some unusual meat. Portions are not overly big but adequate, prices are a little expensive for a pub with aspirations to a gastro-pub. Food quality is very good, but the service isnt particularly friendly. Overall - not bad but try to catch the staff in a good mood or you will struggle... More
