Having visited this restaurant on many occasions after attending concerts at the Colston Hall just opposite, always finding the food excellent, and the staff welcoming, I was extremely miffed and angry recently to be met in the most unwelcoming manner. When my friends and I asked for a table for three after the concert (on a Monday), the man at... More

This is my second visit to this restaurant which I have now pinned as one of my favourites in bristol. The food was prompt hot and delicious and the staff helpful and friendly. Ideal for a pre show meal

Very handy for theatres with a quick menu , which we didn't go for but it came out quickly anyway, which considering there were some big groups in was very good ! Some different dishes as well as the classics. Nicely spiced. Friendly staff, reasonable priced wine.

Our son recommended that we try Kathmandu prior to a visit to the Colston Hall. I booked a table for six (online) and had a positive email reply within a couple of hours. The restaurant is spacious and appealing. The staff were very friendly and informative. The food didn't take long to arrive, was piping hot and tasted fantastic. Overall... More

I booked a table well in advance for a pre-theatre dinner - and received confirmation of the table and time. We arrived at exactly the time we had booked to find the restaurant in darkness and a staff member waiting outside. We were all standing in the rain and when we explained we had a table booked he pulled out... More

Once again we would like to apologise and are sorry that we were not able to arrive on time, however, the reasons were due to unforeseen circumstances which caused excessive traffic in and around Bristol city centre. We do our very best to arrive well in advance of bookings before 6pm however, we were unable to do so on this... More

I visited this Restaurant as I am a fan of Nepali food and looking at some reviews was looking forward to my Dinner! The restaurant was less than half full on my arrival and I was shown to my table. Being a Vegetarian I asked the Waiter what Vegetarian starters he had and he laughed in my face! Needless to... More

Some similarities to Indian cuisine but the food is delightfully spiced and there are Nepalese dishes which are wonderfully unique. The service is excellent and the food well cooked and not too overbearing like Indian, lighter portions with more emphasis on spices and flavours. Try the Nepalese lager beer to accompany your meal. I've eaten here three times in the... More

I have now eaten here 3 times in this Nepalese family run restaurant and the experience has been excellent each time. The food is delightfully different; they import their own spices from Nepal to ensure authenticity and as a result the flavours are quite different from 'normal' indian/asian flavours - even those wary of Indian cuisine thoroughly enjoyed it. The... More

I have dined here a few times and took my wife recently, although Asian food is not her first choice she was delighted with the food and service. Not much else I can say apart from I agree with all the other good reviews.
