Well worth a visit

You'll always get a friendly welcome at Kathmandu and generally the service is very good. Wine list great, food good, some very authentic Nepalese dishes and vegetarians well catered for.

Good location opposite the Colston Hall for a pre concert dinner. The wonderful service provided by geuine Nepalese and the standard of cuisine was excellent with a good range of curry type sauces.

Visited as a party of 9. Good food, well cooked. Spice and heat personalised for 2 of our party which was good, also demonstrating freshly cooked food. Just felt something was missing as a dining experience - cant put my finger on it. Overall, I have had better value meals in other restaurants.

This friendly but chilled restaurant has truly gorgeous, high quality veggie food, clean loos and service is efficient. They even brought a fan to my table because I was too hot!

My brother and his partner and my twin sister and myself always come here after a show at the Colston Hall or Bristol Hippodrome. The food is always first class and the staff are always friendly. Even when it is late at night. It is 5 stars from me.

Booked for a pre-conference meal here on a Friday evening last week. No pre booking of meal selection required. Staff very helpful. Meals described perfectly and tasted delicious. Try the Nepalise style. Very reasonable cost. Well worth trying if your staying in the centre of Bristol .

Went here for a retirement event where the good and atmosphere was good . Good choice from normal Indian cuisine and tried something from the Nepalese section that was very tasty. All dishes went down well and well worth a visit. TD

Quite a small restaurant opposite the Colston Hall the size being deceptive by the huge full-length wall mirrors. Very friendly staff offering excellent service. We started with an excellent Pride of Nepal beer which proved to be very refreshing. Deciding on Nepalese cuisine (Indian is available but, hey, we're in a Nepalese restaurant) which generally uses more cumin, fenugreek and... More

Happened upon this whilst on a business trip and as I love Nepalese food i gave it a try. That was meal one. It was so good i rounded up my friends and colleagues and went back the next night for another go. The food was great, obviously fresh and tasty ingredients and well cooked. I stuck to the Nepalese... More

Ate here last night before a gig at the Colston Hall. Nepalese special was fantastic and staff were friendly and accommodating. Atmosphere was terrific. I would highly recommend
