Great night out

I visited Assilah Bistro for the first time last week to celebrate a friend's birthday. The atmosphere was great and, although we were a big group, the staff worked very hard to look after us. The Belly Dancer completed a perfect evening.

Had a smashing meal last night with my friend. We both had the veggie starters and main courses which were delicious and very filling. It makes a change to have an authentic freshly cooked meal. Bridget always spends time to have a chat even when rushed off her feet. Will go again soon

Cannot recommend this restaurant highly enough. Booked for a birthday bash for approx 24 of us. Having discussed the menu in advance Bridget (owner) went out of her way to make sure that we knew what we were having and when. We arrived slightly early but this didn't faze her or her staff, as it's a BYO she immediately arranged... More

Have visited Assilah many times with friends and family. Food always good and great value for money. Decor and atmosphere is comfortable and both relaxing and fun. Bridgette is always friendly and helpful, all in all a very enjoyable evening venue, my son of 13's favourite venue and we shall be back for his birthday soon!

This is a great restaurant and as I've been here several times and the main courses are so good it made me want to go to Morocco, which I have now done. I love the low tables and comfy chairs. The deserts and starters are not really my cup but are traditional moroccan dishes.

we went to Assilah Bistro for the first time and had a very enjoyable experience, the resaurant was very busy, but the staff were very friendly and made every effort to ensure our visit was a good experience. The food was excellent, pipeing hot and very tasty just what was needed for one of the coldest days this year. We... More

Using the last date on our Groupon voucher we had a lovely evening out at Assilah. A very relaxing atmosphere with the music, the rugs and the low lounge and we soon chilled out on the sofa with our ‘bring your own wine’. Each of the courses we chose were fabulously cooked, wonderful to the taste buds and must say,... More

We booked into Assilah last night for a small Christmas party. Bridget and her team were very accommodating and helped with all aspects of our booking. The food was tasty and the service was very good. We were sat in the lower seating area which suited our party size and allowed us to all sit together. I will be revisiting... More

Once more back to Assilah, this time with my son, a grumpy hard to please 18yr old, was he happy? You betcha!! He said his Lamb tangine was the best lamb he'd ever tasted... High praise indeed. I'm not the slightest bit surprised by his reaction, because I know just how good this fabulous little bistro is, and keeps us... More

Visited here recently on a voucher deal and plan to go again. Nice atmosphere, lots of Moroccan rugs, cushions etc, and very friendly owners. There was only a choice of two starters and we both chose the falafels with dips, which were excellent. There was plenty of choice for the main course; I had chicken cousocus, my husband had lamb....
